Description
本發明係關於一種彈性多層膜,尤其關於包含一熱塑性聚氨酯與一接枝型聚合物之彈性多層膜及其製品。
熱塑性彈性體,簡稱TPE(Thermoplastic Elastomer)或熱塑性橡膠,簡稱TPR(Thermoplastic Rubber),是塑膠加工業者經常使用的彈性薄膜材料。在加工應用領域中,彈性薄膜之非屬彈性的其他物理特性也非常重要,往往決定其是否可以成功地發展。換言之,良好的彈性薄膜,除需具有足夠的彈性以外,也要兼具其他必要之物理特性,才足以對付應用面的要求。
從鞋材的應用來看,以彈性薄膜材料製作鞋墊研究相當多。如美國專利5,756,195及7,685,744就分別提及一種包含布料及SEBS(苯乙烯/乙烯/丁二烯/苯乙烯共聚物)凝膠的鞋墊材料。此外,美國專利4,666,782也描述一種應用於鞋墊的硫化橡膠製品,其具有熱塑性聚氨酯(TPU)並含有15 wt%的聚醚成分,能有阻油及抗裂特性。另有美國專利5,542,196係提及另一種應用於鞋墊的材料,其具有以熱塑性聚氨酯或醋酸乙烯酯共聚物製成的熱塑性彈性體。
現有的彈性薄膜材料仍不免有各種缺點。舉例而言,熱塑性橡膠作鞋墊之典型製法是利用溶劑型黏膠將布料與熱塑性橡膠貼合。然而,溶劑型黏膠在熔化過程期間會散發出有害的氣體及難以處理的殘餘物。因此,需要一種新穎的彈性薄膜材料來解決習知的問題。
本發明之一方面在於提供一種彈性多層膜,包含一阻油層及一接著層。阻油層包含一熱塑性聚氨酯;接著層包含一接枝型聚合物。單層阻油層膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層接著層膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間。形成彈性多層膜係為阻油層及接著層之熔融樹脂經鑄膜(cast film)共押出或吹膜共押出來加以成型。
本發明之另一方面在於提供一種彈性多層膜,包含一阻油層、一接著層及一次接著層,接著層位在阻油層及次接著層之間。阻油層包含一熱塑性聚氨酯;接著層包含一接枝型聚合物;次接著層包含一非接枝型烯烴樹脂。單層阻油層膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層接著層膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層次接著層膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間。形成彈性多層膜係為阻油層,接著層及次接著層之熔融樹脂經鑄膜(cast film)共押出或吹膜共押出來加以成型。
本發明之更另一方面在於提供一種彈性製品,包含上述之彈性多層膜及熱塑性彈性體凝膠。形成彈性製品係利用模內貼標(in-molding labeling)及射出技術,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠與彈性多層膜一體成型。本發明之彈性製品不吐油也無皺摺,可應用於個人保健用品、運動保護用品、醫療矯正用品及鞋類製品配件等相關應用。就鞋類製品的應用而言,彈性多層膜可取代傳統之布料與熱塑性彈性體直接貼合,因而不需使用溶劑型黏膠,可解決環保的問題。
本發明尚包含其他各方面及各種實施例,以解決其他問題。合併上述之各方面及其他方面詳細揭露於實施方式中。
為使本發明及其所要主張的申請專利範圍能被充分地理解,以下將參考所附圖式示範本發明之較佳實施例。為避免模糊本發明之內容,以下說明可能會省略習知的元件、相關材料、及其相關處理技術。所附圖式中相似元件係採用相同的元件符號。應注意為清楚呈現本發明,所附圖式中之各元件並非按照實物之比例繪製。
圖1為依據本發明之第一具體實施例所例示之彈性多層膜100;圖2為依據本發明之第一具體實施例所示之彈性製品200,包含上述之彈性多層膜100及熱塑性彈性體凝膠210。
如圖所示,彈性多層膜100包含一阻油層110及一接著層120。阻油層110包含一熱塑性聚氨酯。接著層120包含一接枝型聚合物。
熱塑性聚氨酯結構上包括硬段(hard segment)及軟段(soft segment)兩部份。硬段結構可由芳香族聚異氰酸酯(aromatic polyisocyanate)所組成,例如4,4-二異氰酸甲苯(toluene diisocyanate,TDI)或4,4-二異氰酸二苯甲烷(4,4-methylene bisphenyl diisocyanate,MDI)。軟段結構可由聚醚多元醇(polyether-polyol)或聚酯多元醇(polyester-polyol)所組成,例如聚乙二醇(polyethyleneglycol,PEG)、聚丙二醇(polypropylene glycol,PPG)、聚1,4-丁二醇己二酸(poly(1,4-butylene adipate,PBA))、聚丁二醇(polytetramethylene glycol,PTMG)或1,4-丁二醇(1,4-butane diol,1,4-BD)。聚醚多元醇於聚氨酯中的重量百分比大體介於20~60 wt%。結構中,硬段與軟段的比例大體介於0.5~0.8。同時聚氨酯之NCO/OH比值較佳介於0.9~1.2。
同樣參考圖1及圖2,接著層120包含一接枝型聚合物。在較佳的數個實例中,接枝型聚合物可為馬來酸酐(maleic anhydride)接枝線性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝低密度聚乙烯(LDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝高密度聚乙烯(HDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝聚丙烯(PP-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC-MA)、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯(glycidyl methacrylate)接枝苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC-g-GMA)、矽烷接枝聚乙烯(PE-g-silane)、或其上述各項的各種組合。線型低密度聚乙烯密度大約介於0.915~0.940g/cm3
。高密度聚乙烯密度大約介於0.941~0.970 g/cm3
。上述之苯乙烯嵌段共聚物可為苯乙烯-(乙烯-丁烯)-苯乙烯之SEBS嵌段共聚物。商業化可用之SEBS-g-MA為商品名KRATON FG 1901 X。一般而言,接枝物之含量約為接枝型聚合物總重量的0.5 wt%~5 wt%。在以馬來酸酐作為接枝物之實例中,馬來酸酐的含量約為接枝型聚合物總重量的0.5 wt%~5 wt%。
同樣參考圖1及圖2,單層阻油層110膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層接著層120膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間。形成彈性多層膜100可為阻油層及接著層之熔融樹脂經鑄膜(cast film)共押出或吹膜共押出來加以成型。彈性多層膜100製作完成後,再利用模內貼標及射出技術,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠210與彈性多層膜100一體成型以製作彈性製品200。
本發明所指之熱塑性彈性體凝膠可由一般熱塑性彈性體材料摻混加工油來製成。熱塑性彈性體材料包含如氫化或未氫化的乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物、熱塑性聚氨酯、熱塑性聚烯烴、聚醯胺、聚脲、多酯類、及可依溫度變化關係可逆軟化的其他聚合物材料,但不以此為限。較佳而言,以氫化或未氫化乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物為較適宜的選擇。在乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物中,共軛二烯部分對乙烯芳族部分的比例可有各種變化,而且可選擇各種類型的多嵌段共聚物,譬如線型、放射對稱型、或放射不對稱型等等,也可含有逐序嵌段共聚物。較佳而言,可選擇乙烯芳族之比例佔總嵌段共聚物小於60 wt%的乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物。有關乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物之聚合單體,可使用包含4個碳至10個碳或更典型地包含4個碳至6個碳的共軛二烯,例如1,3-丁二烯(1,3-butadiene)、異戊二烯(isoprene)、2,3-二甲基-1,3-丁二烯(2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene)、氯丁二烯(chloroprene)、1,3戊二烯(1,3-pentadiene)、1,3己二烯(1,3-hexadiene)及其上述各項之任何組合。較佳的共軛二烯為1,3-丁二烯(1,3-butadiene)或異戊二烯(isoprene)。乙烯芳族之單體的實例則包含苯乙烯(styrene)、各種經取代苯乙烯(substituted styrenes)及其所有異構物,例如對-甲基苯乙烯(p-methylstyrene)、對叔丁基苯乙烯(p-tert-butylstyrene)、1,3二甲基苯乙烯(1,3-dimethylstyrene)、α-甲基苯乙烯(alpha-methylstyrene)、β-甲基苯乙烯(beta-methylstyrene)、對異丙基苯乙烯(p-isopropylstyrene)、2,3二甲基苯乙烯(2,3-dimethylstyrene)、鄰氯苯乙烯(o-chlorostyrene)、對氯苯乙烯(p-chlorostyrene)、鄰溴苯乙烯(o-bromostyrene)、2-氯-4甲基苯乙烯(2-chloro-4methylstyrene)及其上述各項之任何組合。較佳的乙烯芳族為苯乙烯。
本發明於一實例使用SEBS(苯乙烯-乙烯-丁烯-苯乙烯)。SEBS是三嵌段聚合物SBS(苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯)的加氫產物,也可稱為氫化SBS。於另一實例使用另一種三嵌段聚合物SIS(苯乙烯-異戊二烯-苯乙烯)的加氫產物,稱為氫化SIS或SEPS(苯乙烯-乙烯-丙烯-苯乙烯)。又於另一實例使用四嵌段聚合物SIBS(苯乙烯-異戊二烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯)。再於另一實例使用另一種三嵌段聚合物S(I/B)S(苯乙烯-(異戊二烯/丁二烯混合物)-苯乙烯)。另一實例使用S(I/B)S的加氫產物,也可稱為SEEPS(苯乙烯-乙烯-乙烯-丙烯-苯乙烯)。
依據本發明的實例,乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物之數目平均分子量(number average molecular weight)在約20,000至約500,000之間,較佳在40,000至300,000之間,其中乙烯芳族所占之數目平均分子量約為2,000至125,000,較佳為4,000至60,000。本發明之熱塑性彈性體凝膠中所含之加工油可選自石蠟油、環烷烴油、芳香油、及其上述之各種組合。
準備適量的TPU和LLDPE-g-MA塑料。TPU採用路博潤先進材料公司(Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc)製造之ESTANETPU 90A/42D;LLDPE-g-MA採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX3227。上述之塑料經過鑄膜(cast film)設備的押出機加熱熔融共押出。再經過模頭以形成薄膜狀。接著,利用冷卻輪將薄膜冷卻後收捲即形成彈性多層膜100,其中阻油層110(熱塑性聚氨酯)膜厚為150 um,接著層120(LLDPE-g-MA)膜厚為50 um。彈性多層膜100製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠(摻有加工油的SEBS) 210與彈性多層膜100一體成型,以形成彈性製品200。
取一彈性製品擺在紙板上並使具彈性膜面(阻油層110)朝下。將其放置於烘箱70℃持續6 hr的環境中測試。取出後若紙板上留有油漬,表示有吐油的現象產生,並觀察彈性膜面若非原先的光滑平整則判斷已變成皺摺面。實例1-1之彈性製品200經上述測試無吐油也無皺摺。
以ASTM D882方法測試實例1-1之阻油層110與接著層120層間的黏著力。當拉伸長度增加時,若只有水平長度延伸變形,而二薄膜層間的黏著介面並無持續分開的現象,則定義為“撕不開”。實例1-1之阻油層110與接著層120層間之黏著測試結果為撕不開。實例1-1之接著層120與熱塑性彈性體凝膠210二層間之黏著測試結果為2.8 lb/in。
準備適量的TPU和LLDPE-g-MA塑料。TPU採用路博潤材料公司(Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc)製造之ESTANETPU 90A/42D。LLDPE-g-MA採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX3227。上述之塑料經吹膜(blown film)設備的押出機加熱熔融押出。再經管狀模頭形成薄膜。接著,利用空氣冷卻方式將薄膜冷卻後收捲製成彈性多層膜100,其中阻油層110(熱塑性聚氨酯)膜厚為150 um,接著層120(LLDPE-g-MA)膜厚為50 um。彈性多層膜100製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠210(摻有加工油的SEBS)與彈性多層膜100一體成型,以形成彈性製品200。此實例之彈性製品200經上述吐油及皺摺測試方法進行測試,結果為無吐油也無皺摺。此實例之阻油層110與接著層120經上述之黏著測試方法進行測試,結果為撕不開。
本發明之實例2-1,2-2,3-1及3-2之方法與上述類似。實例1-1,1-2,2-1,2-2,3-1及3-2之實驗條件與結果列於表一,其中有關塑料LDPE-g-MA採用DSM公司生產之Yparex9207,PP-g-MA採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX6002。
準備適量的PP-g-MA塑料,採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX6002。上述之塑料經過鑄膜(cast film)設備的押出機加熱熔融共押出。再經過模頭以形成薄膜狀。接著,利用冷卻輪將薄膜冷卻後收捲即形成彈性單層膜,膜厚為50 um。彈性單層膜製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠(採用摻有加工油的SEBS)與彈性單層膜一體成型,以形成彈性製品。此實例之彈性製品經上述吐油及皺摺測試方法進行測試,結果為吐油並產生皺摺。
準備適量的PP-g-MA塑料,採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX6002。上述之塑料經吹膜(blown film)設備的押出機加熱熔融押出。再經管狀模頭形成薄膜。接著,利用空氣冷卻方式將薄膜冷卻後收捲製成彈性單層膜,其中,膜厚為50 um。彈性單層膜製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠(摻有加工油的SEBS)與彈性單層膜一體成型,以形成彈性製品。此實例之彈性製品經上述吐油及皺摺測試方法進行測試,結果為吐油並產生皺摺。
比較實例C2-1,C2-2,C3-1及C3-2之方法與上述類似。比較實例C1-1,C1-2,C2-1,C2-2,C3-1及C3-2之實驗條件與結果列於表二,其中有關塑料TPU採用路博潤材料公司(Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc)製造之ESTANETPU 90A/42D,無接枝PP採用永嘉烯5018T。
以無接枝LLDPE或無接枝LDPE取代無接枝PP進行如上述之鑄膜/吹膜之單層膜實驗可獲得與比較實例C3-1及C3-2相似的結果。無接枝LLDPE採用Mitsui SP-2510。無接枝LDPE採用台聚NA112-27。
圖3為依據本發明之第二具體實施例所例示之彈性多層膜300;圖4為依據本發明之第二具體實施例所示之彈性製品400,包含上述之彈性多層膜300及熱塑性彈性體凝膠210。
如圖3及圖4所示,彈性多層膜300包含一阻油層110、一接著層120及一次接著層310,接著層120位在阻油層110及次接著層310之間。阻油層110包含一熱塑性聚氨酯。接著層120包含一接枝型聚合物。有關熱塑性聚氨酯、接枝型聚合物之詳細說明可參考第一具體實施例。次接著層310包含非接枝型烯烴樹脂,且較佳而言不含任何接枝型樹脂。所謂非接枝型烯烴樹脂係指沒有接枝的烯烴聚合物,如聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、或乙烯及α-烯烴聚合而成之聚烯烴彈性體(Polyolefin Elastomer,POE)。
參考圖3及圖4,單層阻油層110膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層接著層120膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間;單層次接著層310膜厚範圍在5 um至250 um之間。形成彈性多層膜300可為阻油層、接著層、次接著層之熔融樹脂經鑄膜(cast film)共押出或吹膜共押出來加以成型。彈性多層膜300製作完成後,再利用模內貼標及射出技術,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠210與彈性多層膜300一體成型以製作彈性製品400。有關熱塑性彈性體凝膠之詳細說明可參考第一具體實施例。
準備適量的TPU和LLDPE-g-MA與PE塑料。TPU採用路博潤材料公司(Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc)製造之ESTANETPU 90A/42D;LLDPE-g-MA採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX3227。PE採用DSM公司生產之Yparex9207。上述之塑料經過鑄膜(cast film)設備的押出機加熱熔融共押出。再經過模頭以形成薄膜狀。接著,利用冷卻輪將薄膜冷卻後收捲即形成彈性多層膜300,其中阻油層110(熱塑性聚氨酯)膜厚為150 um,接著層120(LLDPE-g-MA)膜厚為50 um,次接著層310(PE)膜厚為50。彈性多層膜300製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出(Injection)製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠(摻有加工油的SEBS) 210與彈性多層膜300一體成型,以形成彈性製品400。此實例之彈性製品400經上述吐油及皺摺測試方法進行測試,結果為無吐油也無皺摺。將上述PE塑料改成PP(採用永嘉烯5018T)或POE塑料(採用Engage 8100),可獲得與使用PE塑料相似的結果。
準備適量的TPU和LLDPE-g-MA與PE塑料。TPU採用路博潤材料公司(Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc)製造之ESTANETPU 90A/42D;LLDPE-g-MA.採用萊昂德爾(LYONDELL)公司生產之PX3227;PE採用DSM公司生產之Yparex9207。上述之塑料經吹膜(blown film)設備的押出機加熱熔融押出。再經管狀模頭形成薄膜。接著,利用空氣冷卻方式將薄膜冷卻後收捲製成彈性多層膜300,其中阻油層110(熱塑性聚氨酯)膜厚為150 um,接著層120(LLDPE-g-MA)膜厚為50 um,次接著層310(PE)膜厚為50 um。彈性多層膜300製作完成後,利用模內貼標技術及射出製程,使熱塑性彈性體凝膠(採用摻有加工油的SEBS)210與彈性多層膜300一體成型,以形成彈性製品400。此實例之彈性製品400經上述吐油及皺摺測試方法進行測試,結果為無吐油也無皺摺。將上述PE塑料改成PP(永嘉烯5018T)或POE塑料(Engage 8100),可獲得與使用PE塑料相似的結果。

Claims (16)
- 一種彈性多層膜,包含:一阻油層,包含一熱塑性聚氨酯;及一接著層,包含一接枝型聚合物,該彈性多層膜係為該阻油層及該接著層之熔融樹脂共押出以成型,其中該接枝型聚合物係選自馬來酸酐(maleic anhydride)接枝線性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝低密度聚乙烯(LDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝高密度聚乙烯(HDPE-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝聚丙烯(PP-g-MA)、馬來酸酐接枝苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC-MA)、甲基丙烯酸縮水甘油酯(glycidyl methacrylate)接枝苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBC-g-GMA)、矽烷接枝聚乙烯(PE-g-silane)、及其上述各項的各種組合。
- 如請求項1所述之彈性多層膜,其中該接枝型聚合物中接枝物的含量為該接枝型聚合物總重量的0.5wt%~5wt%。
- 如請求項2所述之彈性多層膜,其中該接枝物為馬來酸酐時,馬來酸酐的含量約為該接枝型聚合物總重量的0.5wt%~5wt%。
- 如請求項1所述之彈性多層膜,其中該阻油層膜厚範圍在5um至250um之間;該接著層膜厚範圍在5um至250um之間。
- 如請求項1所述之彈性多層膜,更包含一次接著層,該次接著層包含一非接枝型烯烴樹脂,該接著層位在該阻油層及該次接著層之間,該彈性多層膜係為該阻油層、該接著層及該次 接著層之熔融樹脂共押出以成型。

- 如請求項8所述之彈性製品,其中形成該彈性製品係利用一模內貼標及射出技術,使該熱塑性彈性體凝膠與該彈性多層膜一體成型。
- 如請求項8所述之彈性製品,其中該熱塑性彈性體凝膠包含乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物及一加工油。
- 如請求項10所述之彈性製品,其中該乙烯芳族之單體係選自以下項目所組成之群組:苯乙烯(styrene)、對-甲基苯乙烯(p-methylstyrene)、對叔丁基苯乙烯(p-tert-butylstyrene)、1,3二甲基苯乙烯(1,3-dimethylstyrene)、α-甲基苯乙烯(alpha-methylstyrene)、β-甲基苯乙烯(beta-methylstyrene)、對異丙基苯乙烯(p-isopropylstyrene)、2,3二甲基苯乙烯(2,3-dimethylstyrene)、鄰氯苯乙烯(o-chlorostyrene)、對氯苯乙烯(p-chlorostyrene)、鄰溴苯乙烯(o-bromostyrene)、2-氯-4甲基苯乙烯(2-chloro-4methylstyrene)、及其上述各項之任何組合。
- 如請求項10所述之彈性製品,其中該共軛二烯之單體係選自以下項目所組成之群組:1,3-丁二烯(1,3-butadiene)、異戊二烯(isoprene)、2,3-二甲基-1,3-丁二烯(2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene)、氯丁二烯(chloroprene)、1,3戊二烯(1,3-pentadiene)、1,3己二烯(1,3-hexadiene)、及其上述各項之任何組合。
- 如請求項10所述之彈性製品,其中該加工油係選自以下項目所組成之群組:石蠟油、環烷烴油、芳香油、及其上述之各種組合。
- 如請求項10所述之彈性製品,其中該乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物之數目平均分子量(number average molecular weight)在20,000至約500,000之間。
- 如請求項10項所述之彈性製品,其中該乙烯芳族-共軛二烯嵌段共聚物中乙烯芳族所占之數目平均分子量約為2,000至125,000。
- 一種物品,其包含如請求項8之所述之彈性製品,其中該物品係選自個人保健用品、運動保護用品、醫療矯正用品及鞋類製品。
