Description
本發明係有關一種液晶顯示器之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物、具有該感光性樹脂所形成畫素層的彩色濾光片及包含該彩色濾光片的液晶顯示元件。特別是提供一種顏料凝集現象減少、顯影時之顯影性佳且顯影後所形成之圖案無底切之彩色濾光片之綠色畫素用感光性樹脂組成物。
目前,彩色濾光片已被廣泛地應用在彩色液晶顯示器、彩色傳真機、彩色攝影機等應用領域。隨著彩色液晶顯示器等影像器材之市場需求日漸擴大,在彩色濾光片的製作技術上亦趨向多樣化。
通常,彩色濾光片可藉由染色法、印刷法、電著法、顏料分散法等方法,將紅、綠、藍等畫素形成在透明玻璃基板上製得。一般而言,為提高彩色濾光片的對比度,可在畫素著色層間再配置遮光層(或稱黑色矩陣)。
上述之顏料分散法之製程係先將顏料分散在光硬化性樹脂中而形成著色感光性樹脂組成物,最後將該樹脂組成物形成畫素著色層。進一步而言,顏料分散法之製程,通常係先在玻璃基板等透明支持體上,以鉻、氧化鉻等金屬或感光性樹脂遮光膜形成遮光層(black matrix),然後再將分散了紅色顏料的感光性樹脂(彩色光阻劑)藉由旋轉塗佈方式將該感光性樹脂塗佈在透明支持體上,藉由光罩進行曝光,曝光後進行顯影處理即可得紅色畫素;再以同樣
的操作方式,即重複藉由塗佈、曝光、顯影之方式即可在支持體上分別製得紅、綠、藍等三色畫素。
近年,彩色液晶顯示器的用途不再侷限在個人電腦上,還廣泛應用於彩色電視及各種監視螢幕上(尤其是大尺寸之彩色液晶螢幕),而在此應用領域中,一般皆伴隨有高亮度、高對比之要求。
一般之彩色濾光片之綠色畫素用感光性樹脂組成物,係採用中心金屬含銅之鹵化酞菁化合物作為著色用顏料,然其所形成之著色畫素,卻無法達到高對比、高亮度之要求。因此,如日本特開2003-161828號公開特許公報所揭示,改以採用中心金屬含鋅之鹵化酞菁化合物取代之。
然而,以中心金屬含鋅之鹵化酞菁化合物作為著色顏料,其所製得之感光性樹脂組成物中,當使用一般習知之光起始劑時,如日本特開2009-222752號公開特許公報揭示之苯乙酮(acetophenone)系光起始劑或日本特開2009-198751號公開特許公報揭示之二苯甲酮(benzophenone)系光起始劑,則皆有感光性樹脂組成物之顏料凝集現象增加,顯影時之顯影性不佳且顯影後所形成之圖案發生底切等問題。
本發明主要目的在於提供一種液晶顯示器之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物。特別是提供一種顏料凝集現象減少、顯影時之顯影性佳且顯影後所形成之圖案無底切之彩色濾光片之綠色畫素用感光性樹脂組成物。
為滿足前述目的,本發明係一種彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,該組成物包含鹼可溶性樹脂(A)、含乙烯性不
飽合基之化合物(B)、光起始劑(C)、有機溶劑(D)以及顏料(E);其中,該顏料(E)包含下記結構式(1)所表示之鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1);
式中,M為Al、Si、Sc、Ti、V、Fe、Co、Ni、Zn、Ga、Ge、Y、Zr、Nb、In、Sn或Pb;X1

為氫原子或鹵素原子,且該鹵素原子係氟原子、氯原子、溴原子或是碘原子,該鹵素原子之總和為8~16之整數;Y為氟原子、氯原子、溴原子、碘原子、氧原子或是羥基;m為0~2之整數。
該光起始劑(C)包含O-醯基肟系光起始劑(C-1)以及三氮雜苯系光起始劑(C-2),且光起始劑(C-1)與光起始劑(C-2)之重量比為20/80~80/20。
以下逐一對本發明各組成做詳細的說明:
該鹼可溶性樹脂(A)係由含一個或一個以上之羧酸基之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)5~50重量份,以及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)95~50重量份所共聚合而成,且,含羧酸基之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)合計100重量份。
上述含一個或一個以上之羧酸基乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)之具體例如:丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、丁烯酸、α-氯丙烯酸、乙基丙烯酸、肉桂酸、2-丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯、2-甲基丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯及2-異丁烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯等之不飽和一元羧酸類;馬來酸、馬來酸酐、富馬酸、衣康酸、衣康酸酐、檸康酸及檸康酸酐等之不飽和二元羧酸(酐)類;三價以上之不飽和多價羧酸(酐)類。
上述一個或一個以上之羧酸基乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1),以丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、2-丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯、2-甲基丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯及2-異丁烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯為最佳。其中,使用2-丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯、2-甲基丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯及2-異丁烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯等之含羧酸基乙烯性不飽和單體可以提高顏料分散性、增進顯影性以及減少殘渣發生。
前述一個或一個以上之羧酸基乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
上述其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)之具體例如:苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯、乙烯基甲苯、對氯苯乙烯、甲氧基苯乙烯等之芳香族乙烯基化合物;N-苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-鄰-羥基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-間-羥基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-對-羥基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-鄰-甲基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-間-甲基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-對-甲基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-鄰-甲氧基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-間-甲氧基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-對-甲氧基苯基馬來醯亞胺、N-環己基馬來醯亞胺等馬來醯亞胺類;丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯

丁酸乙烯酯等之羧酸乙烯酯類;乙烯基甲醚、乙烯基乙醚、烯丙基環氧丙基醚、甲代烯丙基環氧丙基醚等不飽和醚類;丙烯腈、甲基丙烯腈、α-氯丙烯腈、氰化亞乙烯等之氰化乙烯基化合物;丙烯醯胺、甲基丙烯醯胺、α-氯丙烯醯胺、N-羥乙基丙烯醯胺、N-羥乙基甲基丙烯醯胺等之不飽和醯胺;1,3-丁二烯、異戊烯、氯化丁二烯等之脂肪族共軛二烯類。
前述所列舉其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)之具體例,乃以苯乙烯、N-苯基馬來醯亞胺、丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸2-羥基乙酯、甲基丙烯酸2-羥基乙酯、丙烯酸苯甲酯、甲基丙烯酸苯甲酯較佳。該其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)之具體例可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
該鹼可溶性樹脂(A)在製造時所使用的溶劑,一般較常用之具體例如:乙二醇甲醚、乙二醇乙醚、二甘醇甲醚、二甘醇乙醚、二甘醇正丙醚、二甘醇正丁醚、三甘醇甲醚、三甘醇乙醚、丙二醇甲醚、丙二醇乙醚、一縮二丙二醇甲醚、一縮二丙二醇乙醚、一縮二丙二醇正丙醚、一縮二丙二醇正丁醚、二縮三丙二醇甲醚(tripropylene glycol mono methyl ether)、二縮三丙二醇乙醚(tripropylene glycol mono ethyl ether)等之(聚)亞烷基二醇單烷醚類;乙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、乙二醇乙醚醋酸酯、丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、丙二醇乙醚醋酸酯等(聚)亞烷基二醇單烷醚醋酸酯類;二甘醇二甲醚、二甘醇甲乙醚、二甘醇二乙醚、四氫呋喃等其他醚類;甲乙烷酮、環己酮、2-庚酮、3-庚酮等
酮類;2-羥基丙酸甲酯、2-羥基丙酸乙酯等乳酸烷酯類;2-羥基-2-甲基丙酸甲酯、2-羥基-2-甲基丙酸乙酯、3-甲氧基丙酸甲酯、3-甲氧基丙酸乙酯、3-乙氧基丙酸甲酯、3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯、乙氧基乙酸乙酯、羥基乙酸乙酯、2-羥基-3-甲基丁酸甲酯、3-甲基-3-甲氧基丁基乙酸酯、3-甲基-3-甲氧基丁基丙酸酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸正丙酯、乙酸異丙酯、乙酸正丁酯、乙酸異丁酯、乙酸正戊酯、乙酸異戊酯、丙酸正丁酯、丁酸乙酯、丁酸正丙酯、丁酸異丙酯、丁酸正丁酯、丙酮酸甲酯、丙酮酸乙酯、丙酮酸正丙酯、乙醯乙酸甲酯、乙醯乙酸乙酯、2-氧基丁酸乙酯等其他酯類;甲苯、二甲苯等芳香族碳氫化合物類;N-甲基吡咯烷酮、N,N-二甲基甲醯胺、N,N-二甲基乙醯胺等羧酸醯胺類。
該鹼可溶性樹脂(A)在製造時所使用的溶劑,乃以丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯為較佳;該溶劑可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
該鹼可溶性樹脂(A)製造時所使用之起始劑,一般為自由基型聚合起始劑,具體例如:2,2’-偶氮雙異丁腈(2,2’-azobisisobutyronitrile)、2,2’-偶氮雙(2,4-二甲基戊腈)[2,2’-azobis-(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile)]、2,2’-偶氮雙(4-甲氧基-2,4-二甲基戊腈)[2,2’-azobis-(4-methoxy-2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile)]、2,2’-偶氮雙-2-甲基丁腈(2,2’-azobis-2-methyl butyronitrile)等偶氮(azo)化合物;過氧化二苯甲醯(benzoylperoxide)等過氧化合物。
基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,本發明含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)的使用量一般為10~500重量份,較佳為30~400重量份,更佳為50~300重量份。
上述含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)乃指具有至少一個乙烯性不飽和基之乙烯性不飽和化合物。

前述所列舉含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)的具體例,較佳者為三丙烯酸三羥甲基丙酯、EO改質之三丙烯酸三羥甲基丙酯、PO改質之三丙烯酸三羥甲基丙酯、季戊四醇三丙烯酸酯、季戊四醇四丙烯酸酯、二季戊四醇六丙烯酸酯、二季戊四醇五丙烯酸酯、二季戊四醇四丙烯酸酯、
己內酯改質之二季戊四醇六丙烯酸酯、四丙烯酸二三羥甲基丙酯、PO改質之甘油三丙酸酯。該含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)的具體例可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
基於含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)100重量份,該光起始劑(C)之使用量一般為2~200重量份,較佳為5~180重量份,更佳為10~150重量份。
該光起始劑(C)包含O-醯基肟系光起始劑(C-1)及三氮雜苯(Triazine)系光起始劑(C-2),且該光起始劑(C-1)與該光起始劑(C-2)之重量比為20/80~80/20,較佳為25/75~75/25,更佳為30/70~70/30;當光起始劑(C-1)佔光起始劑(C-1)與光起始劑(C-2)總量中之含量不足20重量%時,會有顯影時顯影性不佳之缺點,超過80重量%時,則有顏料凝集現象,顯影後所形成之圖案發生底切之問題。
基於光起始劑(C)總重量100重量%,該光起始劑(C-1)與該光起始劑(C-2)之合計使用量通常介於40~100重量%,較佳為45~100重量%,更佳為50~100重量%。當該光起始劑(C-1)與該光起始劑(C-2)之合計使用量介於40~100重量%時,可獲得顏料凝集現象減少、顯影時之顯影性較佳且顯影後所形成之圖案無底切之較佳的彩色濾光片之綠色畫素用感光性樹脂組成物。
前述O-醯基肟系光起始劑(C-1)之具體例為:1-[4-(苯基硫代)苯基]-庚烷-1,2-二酮 2-(O-苯醯基肟)[1-[4-(phenylthio)phenyl]-heptane-1,2-dione

本發明中之三氮雜苯(Triazine)系光起始劑(C-2)之具體例如乙烯基-鹵代甲基-s-三氮雜苯化合物、2-(萘并-1-取代基)-4,6-雙-鹵代甲基-s-三氮雜苯化合物及4-(對-胺基苯基)-2,6-二-鹵代甲基-s-三氮雜苯化合物等。

該光起始劑(C-2)依需要可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。該光起始劑(C-2)較佳者為:4-〔間-溴-對-N,N-二(乙氧基羰基甲基)胺基苯基〕-2,6-二(三氯甲基)-s-三氮雜苯[4-[m-bromo-p-N,N-di(ethoxycarbonylmethyl)aminophenyl]-2,6-di(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine]、2,4-雙(三氯甲基)-6-對-甲氧基苯乙烯基-s-三氮雜苯[2,4-Bis(trichloromethyl)-6-(p-methoxy)styryl-s-triazine]等。
另外,在不影響物性範圍內,本發明之感光性樹脂組成物可以依需要添加前記光起始劑(C-1)與(C-2)以外的光起始劑(C-3)。該光起始劑(C-3)之具體例如:苯乙烷酮(acetophenone)類化合物、二咪唑類化合物(biimidazole)、二苯甲酮(benzophenone)類化合物、α-二酮(α-diketone)類化合物、酮醇(acyloin)類化合物、酮醇醚(acyloin ether)類化合物、醯膦氧化物(acylphosphineoxide)類化合物、醌(quinone)類化合物、含鹵素類化合物、過氧化物等。
其中,苯乙烷酮類化合物(acetophenone)具體例如:對二甲胺苯乙烷酮(p-dimethylamino-acetophenone)、
α,α’-二甲氧基氧化偶氮苯乙烷酮(α,α’-dimethoxyazoxyacetophenone)、2,2’-二甲基-2-苯基苯乙烷酮(2,2’-dimethyl-2-phenylacetophenone)、對-甲氧基苯乙烷酮(p-methoxyacetophenone)、2-甲基-1-(4-甲基硫代苯基)-2-嗎啉代-1-丙酮(2-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-morpholinopropane-1-on)、2-苄基-2-N,N-二甲胺-1-(4-嗎啉代苯基)-1-丁酮[2-benzyl-2-N,N-dimethylamino-1-(4-morpholinophenyl)-1-butanone]。

二苯甲酮(benzophenone)類化合物之具體例如:噻噸酮(thioxanthone)、2,4-二乙基噻噸酮(2,4-diethylthioxanthanone)、噻噸酮-4-碸(thioxanthone-4-sulfone)、二苯甲酮(benzophenone)、4,4’-雙(二甲胺)二苯甲酮[4,4’-bis(dimethylamino)benzophenone]、4,4’-雙(二乙胺)二苯甲酮[4,4’-bis(diethylamino)benzophenone]等。
α-二酮類化合物之具體例如:苯偶醯(benzil)、乙醯基(acetyl)等;酮醇類化合物之具體例如:二苯乙醇酮(benzoin);酮醇醚類化合物之具體例如:二苯乙醇酮甲醚(benzoin methylether)、二苯乙醇酮乙醚(benzoin ethylether)、二苯乙醇酮異丙醚(benzoin isopropyl
ether)等;醯膦氧化物類化合物之具體例如:2,4,6-三甲基苯醯二苯基膦氧化物(2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoyldiphenylphosphineoxide)、雙-(2,6-二甲氧基苯醯)-2,4,4-三甲基苯基膦氧化物[bis-(2,6-dimethoxy-benzoyl)-2,4,4-trimethylbenzylphosphineoxide]等;醌類化合物之具體例如:蒽醌(anthraquinone)、1,4-萘醌(1,4-naphthoquinone)等;含鹵素類化合物之具體例如:苯醯甲基氯(phenacylchloride)、三溴甲基苯碸(tribromomethylphenylsulfone)、三(三氯甲基)-s-三氮雜苯[tris(trichloromethyl)-s-triazine]等;過氧化物之具體例如:二-第三丁基過氧化物(di-tertbutylperoxide)。
前述光起始劑(C-3)較佳者為:2-苄基-2-N,N-二甲胺-1-(4-嗎福啉代苯基)-1-丁酮[2-benzyl-2-N,N-dimethylamino-1-(4-morpholinophenyl)-1-butanone]、2,2’-雙(2,4-二氯苯基)-4,4’,5,5’-四苯基二咪唑[2,2’-bis(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4,4’,5,5’-tetraphenylbiimidazole]、4,4’-雙(二乙胺)二苯甲酮[4,4’-bis(diethylamino)benzophenone]等。
上述光起始劑(C-3),依需要可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
本發明之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物係以鹼可溶性樹脂(A)、含乙烯性不飽合基之化合物(B)、光起始劑
(C)、有機溶劑(D)及如後所述之顏料(E)為必要成份,並可視需要加入後述之添加物成份。
通常,係將顏料(E)以外的各成份溶解於適當之有機溶劑(D)中,調製成液狀組成物,再加入顏料(E)均勻混合。前述有機溶劑(D)之選擇上,需選擇可溶解鹼可溶性樹脂(A)、含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B),以及光起始劑(C),且不與鹼可溶性樹脂(A)、含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)及光起始劑(C)等成份相互反應,並具有適當的揮發性者。
基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,本發明感光性樹脂組成物之有機溶劑(D)的使用量一般為500~5,000重量份,較佳為800~4,500重量份,更佳為1,000~4,000重量份。
上述有機溶劑(D)可選自前述鹼可溶性樹脂(A)聚合過程中所使用之溶劑,在此不贅述其具體例。其中,該有機溶劑(D)以丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯、3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯為較佳。該有機溶劑(D)可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,本發明之顏料(E)之使用量通常為100~800重量份,較佳為150~600重量份,更佳為200~500重量份。
該顏料(E)包含下記結構式(1)所示之鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)。

基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)之使用量一般為50~500重量份,較佳為75~450重量份,更佳為100~400重量份。
結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1),是以Al、Si、Sc、Ti、V、Fe、Co、Ni、Zn、Ga、Ge、Y、Zr、Nb、In、Sn或Pb為中心金屬原子的鹵化酞菁化合物。以感光性樹脂組成物所形成塗膜的色純度、色濃度、透明性以及耐熱性為考量,鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)較佳為以Al、Fe、Ni、Ga或Zn作為中心金屬之鹵化酞菁化合物。
關於上述結構式(1),當中心原子M為兩價之金屬時,m為0,則無配位基Y的存在;當中心原子M為三價之金屬時,則存在一個原子價為一價之配位基Y;當中心原子M為四價之金屬時,則存在一個原子價為二價之配位基Y或二個原子價為一價之配位基Y。
上述配位基Y之具體例如:氟原子、氯原子、溴原子、碘原子、氧原子或羥基等。當結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)係配位基Y為羥基之鹵化酞菁化合物時,該配位基Y為羥基之鹵化酞菁化合物進行脫水反應後,會形成二量體或多量體,本發明所用之結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)若以Xn

上記結構式(1)所表示之鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)中,芳香族環上之鹵素原子為8~16個氟、氯、溴或碘原子,該鹵素原子可以全部相同也可以不同;當所述芳香族環上之鹵素原子為至少8個溴原子時,需進一步包含至少1個氯原子為佳,當所述芳香族環上之鹵素原子為至少12個溴原子時,需進一步包含至少2個氯原子,其較適用於高透明性之彩色濾光片用綠色畫素。
相較於習知感光性樹脂組成物所採用作為著色用顏料的中心金屬含銅之鹵化酞菁化合物,結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)的分光透過率光譜的半幅值較小,且最大透過率值較高,此乃因結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)較習知技術所採用的中心金屬含銅之鹵化酞菁化合物具有較高的色純度與色濃度,且所呈現的透明性亦較佳。因此,利用結構式(1)表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)所製得之彩色濾光片用之綠色畫素,具有較佳之對比度及高亮度。
結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)可使用一般習知用於製造含金屬之鹵化酞菁化合物之方法製作,例如:氯磺酸法、鹵化鄰苯二腈法等日本公開專利特開昭50-130816所揭示之製造方法。
本發明之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物中,顏料(E)除了使用結構式(1)所表示之該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)以外,於不影響彩色濾光片之物性下,亦可併用其他綠色顏料(E-2)。該綠色顏料(E-2)之具體例如:C.I.顏料綠07、C.I.顏料綠36、C.I.顏料綠37。
本發明之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物中,顏料(E)之成分中,在該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)存在的情況下,亦可與黃色顏料(E-3)混合使用。其中,包含該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)在內的綠色顏料與黃色顏料(E-3)可依欲得之顏色做比例上的調整。
本發明所使用的黃色顏料(E-3)之具體例如:C.I.顏料黃12、13、14、17、20、24、31、55、83、93、109、110、128、138、139、150、153、154、155、166、168、180、185、211、219等黃色有機顏料。前述之黃色有機顏料可單獨使用或2種以上混合使用,以色純度與透明性為考量,較佳為C.I.顏料黃83、138、139,150、185、219等。
本發明之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物中,顏料(E)之一次粒子之平均粒子徑通常為10~200nm,較佳為20~150nm,更佳為30~100nm。
本發明彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物中,顏料一次粒子之平均粒徑之微細化手段之具體例如:將顏料以機械研磨進行粉碎細化(簡稱研磨法);或將顏料溶解在良溶媒中,再投入貧溶媒,用以將較微細粒徑之顏料析出(簡稱析出法);或在顏料合成過程中,製造出較微細粒徑之顏料(簡稱合成析出法)等。
本發明之顏料(E),必要時可伴隨使用分散劑。此等分散劑例如:陽離子系、陰離子系、非離子系、兩性、聚矽氧烷系、氟系等之界面活性劑。
其中,界面活性劑之具體例如:聚環氧乙烷十二烷基醚、聚環氧乙烷硬脂醯醚、聚環氧乙烷油醚等之聚環氧乙烷烷基醚類;聚環氧乙烷辛基苯醚、聚環氧乙烷壬基苯醚等之聚環氧乙烷烷基苯醚類;聚乙二醇二月桂酸酯、聚乙二醇二硬脂酸酯等之聚乙二醇二酯類;山梨糖醇酐脂肪酸酯類;脂肪酸改質之聚酯類;3級胺改質之聚胺基甲酸酯類;以下為商品名:KP(信越化學工業製)、SF-8427(TorayDow Corning Silicon製)、普利弗隆(Polyflow,共榮社油脂化學工業製)、愛夫多普[F-Top,得克姆公司製(Tochem Products Co.,Ltd.)]、美卡夫克(Megafac,大日本印墨化學工業製)、弗洛多(Fluorade,住友3M製)、阿魏卡多(Asahi Guard)、薩弗隆(Surflon,旭硝子製)等等。該等界面活性劑可單獨一種或混合複數種以上使用。
本發明感光性樹脂組成物為提高塗佈性,亦可在該顏料(E)作為分散劑所使用的界面活性劑之外,另外伴隨使用界面活性劑,且該界面活性劑的具體例與前述作為分散劑伴隨顏料(E)使用之界面活性劑的具體例相同,在此不贅述;基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,該界面活性劑之使用量一般為0~6重量份,較佳為0~4重量份,更佳為0~3重量份。
此外,本發明之感光性樹脂組成物中,可依需要添加各種添加物,例如:填充劑、鹼可溶性樹脂(A)以外之高分子化合物、密著促進劑、抗氧化劑、紫外線吸收劑、防凝集劑等。其中,基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,本發明之填充劑、鹼可溶性樹脂(A)以外之高分子化合物、密著促進劑、抗氧化劑、紫外線吸收劑、防凝集劑等添加物之使用量一般為0~10重量份,較佳為0~6重量份,更佳為0~3重量份。
該添加物之具體例如:玻璃、鋁之填充劑;聚乙烯醇、聚乙二醇單烷基醚、聚氟丙烯酸烷酯等之鹼可溶性樹脂(A)以外的高分子化合物;乙烯基三甲氧基矽烷、乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷、乙烯基三(2-甲氧乙氧基)矽烷、N-(2-氨基乙基)-3-氨基丙基甲基二甲氧基矽烷、N-(2-氨基乙基)-3-氨基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-氨基丙基三乙氧基矽烷、3-環氧丙醇丙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-環氧丙醇丙基甲基二甲氧基矽烷、2-(3,4-環氧環己基)乙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-氯丙基甲基二甲氧基矽烷、3-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-甲基丙烯氧基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-硫醇基丙基三甲氧基矽烷等密著促進劑;2,2-硫代雙(4-甲基-6-第三丁基苯酚)、2,6-二-第三丁基苯酚等之抗氧化劑;2-(3-第三丁基-5-甲基-2-羥基苯基)-5-氯苯基疊氮、烷氧基苯酮等紫外線吸收劑;及,聚丙烯酸鈉等防凝集劑。
本發明之感光性樹脂組成物,在45℃溫度下保管7日時之黏度變化率,相對於初期黏度皆通常為10%以下,較佳為9%以下,更佳為8%以下。當該黏度變化率為10%以下時,其塗膜膜厚均一性較佳。
本發明另一目的在於提供一種彩色濾光片,該彩色濾光片包含有畫素層,且該畫素層係使用前述彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物所形成。
本發明之彩色濾光片之形成方法,主要係藉由迴轉塗佈、流延塗佈、噴墨塗佈(ink-jet)或輥式塗佈等塗佈方式,將混合成溶液狀態之前述彩色濾光片用感光性組成物塗佈在基板上。塗佈後,先以減壓乾燥之方式,去除大部分之溶劑,再以預烤(pre-bake)方式將溶劑去除而形成一預烤塗膜。其中,減壓乾燥及預烤之條件,依各成份之種類,配合比率而異,通常,減壓乾燥乃是在0~200mmHg之壓力下進行1秒鐘~60秒鐘,而預烤乃是在70~110℃溫度下進行1分鐘~15分鐘。預烤後,該預烤塗膜於所指定之光罩(mask)下曝光,於23±2℃溫度下浸漬於顯影液15秒~5分鐘進行顯影,除去不要之部分而形成圖案。曝光使用之光線,以g線、b線、i線等之紫外線為佳,而紫外線裝置可為(超)高壓水銀燈或金屬鹵素燈。
前述基板之具體例如:用於液晶顯示裝置等之無鹼玻璃、鈉鈣玻璃、硬質玻璃(派勒斯玻璃)、石英玻璃及於此等玻璃上附著透明導電膜者;或用於固體攝影裝置等之光電變換裝置基板(如:矽基板)等等。此等基板一般係先形成隔離各畫素著色層之黑色矩陣(black matrix)。
再者,顯影液之具體例如:氫氧化鈉,氫氧化鉀,碳酸鈉,碳酸氫鈉,碳酸鉀,碳酸氫鉀,矽酸鈉,甲基矽酸鈉,氨水,乙胺,二乙胺,二甲基乙醇胺,氫氧化四甲銨,氫氧化四乙銨,膽鹼,吡咯,呱啶,1,8-二氮雜二環-(5,4,0)-7-十一烯等鹼性化合物所構成之鹼性水溶液,其濃度一般為0.001~10重量%,較佳為0.005~5重量%,更佳為0.01~1重量%。
使用前述鹼性水溶液所構成之顯影液時,一般係於顯影後再以水洗淨,其次以壓縮空氣或壓縮氮氣將圖案風乾。
風乾後之具有光硬化塗膜層的基板,利用熱板或烘箱等加熱裝置,在溫度100~280℃下加熱1~15分鐘,將塗膜中的揮發性成分去除,並且使塗膜中未反應的乙烯性不飽和雙鍵進行熱硬化反應。使用各色(主要包括紅、綠、藍三色)之感光性樹脂組成物在預定的畫素上以同樣的步驟重複操作三次,即可得到紅、綠、藍三色之光硬化畫素著色層。
其次,在畫素著色層上,以220℃至250℃溫度於真空下形成ITO(氧化銦錫)蒸鍍膜,必要時,對ITO蒸鍍膜施行蝕刻暨佈線之後,再塗佈液晶配向膜用聚醯亞胺,進而燒成之,即可作為液晶顯示器用之彩色濾光片。
本發明又一目的在於提供一種液晶顯示元件,該液晶顯示元件包含前述彩色濾光片。
本發明之液晶顯示元件,主要係藉由上述彩色濾光片形成方法所形成之彩色濾光片基板,以及設置有薄膜電晶體(TFT,Thin Film Transistor)之驅動基板所構成,其中,在2片基板間介入間隙(晶胞間隔,cell gap)作對向配置,2片基板的周圍部位用封止劑貼合,在基板表面以及封止劑所區分出的間隙內充填注入液晶,封住注入孔而構成液晶晶胞(cell)。然後,在液晶晶胞的外表面,亦即構成液晶晶胞的各個基板的其他側面上,貼合偏光板而製得液晶顯示元件。

[鹼可溶性樹脂(A)之合成例]
合成例A-1
在一容積1000毫升之四頸錐瓶上設置氮氣入口、攪拌器、加熱器、冷凝管及溫度計,並導入氮氣且依表一所示用量加入進料組成物,所述之進料組成物包括:2-甲基丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯單體(以下簡稱HOMS)40重量份、丙烯酸甲酯單體(以下簡稱MA)10重量份、苯乙烯單體(以下簡稱SM)15重量份、甲基丙烯酸苯甲酯單體(以下簡稱BzMA)30重量份、甲基丙烯酸2-羥基乙酯(以下簡稱HEMA)5重量份,以及溶劑3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯(以下簡稱EEP)200重量份。其中,單體混合物之入料方式為連續添加。
四頸錐瓶之內容物被攪拌時,油浴之溫度被提升至100℃,然後依表一所示將聚合用起始劑2,2’-偶氮雙-2-甲基丁腈(以下簡稱AMBN)6重量份溶於有機溶劑EEP中,並以五等份之量在一小時間隔添加在四頸錐瓶中。
聚合過程的反應溫度維持100℃,聚合時間6小時。聚合完成後,將聚合產物自四頸錐瓶中取出,將溶劑脫揮,可得鹼可溶性樹脂A-1。
合成例A-2~A-3
同合成例A-1之操作方法,不同之處係改變聚合用單體之種類及混合用量,其配方及反應條件載於表一。
[顏料(E)之合成例]
鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)之合成例
在一容積500毫升之四頸錐瓶上設置氮氣入口、攪拌器、加熱器、冷凝管及溫度計,將4,5-二氯鄰苯二甲酸酐25.0g、尿素24.2g、鉬酸銨四水合物0.14g及甲基萘50ml加入,然後再加入含有三氯化鎵5.17g之甲基萘溶液50ml。在氮氣環境下以190~200℃溫度反應5小時。反應後利用過濾取得析出物,將析出物依照甲醇、NMP、甲醇之使用順序洗淨,乾燥後得到結構式(2)所表示之鹵化酞菁化合物E-1-1。
使用前述合成例所得之鹼可溶性樹脂(A-1)100重量份(固形份)、表二所示之二季戊四醇六丙烯酸酯(DPHA,東亞合成製,以下簡稱B-1)100重量份、1-[9-乙基-6-(2-甲基苯醯基)-9H-咔唑-3-取代基]-乙烷酮1-(O-乙醯基肟)(以下簡稱C-1-1)12重量份、4-〔間-溴-對-N,N-二(乙氧基羰基甲基)胺基苯基〕-2,6-二(三氯甲基)-s-三氮雜苯(以下簡稱C-2-1)48重量份、2,2’-雙(2,4-二氯苯基)-4,4’,5,5’-四苯基二咪唑(以下簡稱C-3-1)15重量份、綠色顏料中心原子為Ga之鹵化酞菁化合物(以下簡稱E-1-1)125重量份及黃色顏料P.I.顏料黃138(以下簡稱E-3-1)125重量份,加入溶劑3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯(以下簡稱D-1)1,900重量份及丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯(以下簡稱D-2)875重量份後,以搖動式攪拌器,加以溶解混合,即可調製而得彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,該感光性樹脂組成物以下記之各測定評價方式進行評價,所得結果如表二所示。
(一)黏度變化率
以E型黏度計(東機產業社製「ELD型黏度計(RE-80L)」)在溫度為25℃、旋轉速度為20rpm的條件下,測量感光性樹脂組成物之黏度。分別量測剛製造完的感光性樹脂組成物的黏度為初期黏度(a)與感光性樹脂組成物在45℃下存放7日的黏度為經時黏度(b)。所得之黏度值可用下式計算出黏度變化率:
[黏度變化率]=[初期黏度(a)-經時黏度(b)]/[初期黏度(a)]×100%
(二)顏料凝集
將感光性樹脂組成物以旋轉塗佈的方式,塗佈在100mm×100mm之玻璃基板上,先進行減壓乾燥,壓力100mmHg、時間30秒鐘,然後再進行預烤,溫度80℃、時間3分鐘,可形成一膜厚2.5μm之預烤塗膜,再將預烤塗膜以紫外光(曝光機Canon PLA-501F)300mJ/cm2
的光量照射該預烤塗膜後,再浸漬於23℃之顯影液2分鐘,以純水洗淨,再以200℃後烤80分鐘,即可在玻璃基板上形成一膜厚2.0μm之感光性樹脂層。
所得之感光性樹脂層,以光學顯微鏡觀察有無顏料凝集粒子出現(一般顏料凝集粒子介於1~10μm),以如下之基準評價。

(三)底切
由評價方式(二)所得之感光性樹脂層,以掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)觀察,根據邊緣側面(edge profile)之形狀以評價底切

將實施例與比較例所示之感光性樹脂組成物以旋轉塗佈的方式,塗佈在100mm×100mm之玻璃基板上,先進行減壓乾燥,壓力100mmHg、時間30秒鐘,然後再進行預烤,溫度80℃、時間3分鐘,可形成一膜厚1.0μm之預烤塗膜。
上述塗膜以2重量%之氫氧化鉀水溶液2ml滴下,測量塗膜溶解所需之時間,根據所需時間評價顯影性,其評價標準如下:

(五)對比度
由評價方式(二)所得之感光性樹脂層,以第四圖及第五圖所示之方法所測得之輝度計算對比;其中,將所得的感光性樹脂層(1)置於兩枚偏光板(2)、(3)之間,從光源(4)所照射出來的光依序透過偏光板(2)、感光性樹脂層(1)、偏光板(3),而最後透過偏光板(3)的輝度(cd/cm2
)則以輝度計(5)(日本Topcon公司製,型號BM-5A)進行測量。
如第四圖所示,當偏光板(3)的偏光方向與偏光板(2)的偏光方向互相平行時,所測得之輝度為A(cd/cm2
);另外,如第五圖所示,當偏光板(3)的偏光方向與偏光板(2)的偏光方向互相垂直時,所測得之輝度為B(cd/cm2
);則對比度可藉由輝度A與輝度B的比值(輝度A/輝度B)而得,其評價標準如下

(六)亮度

(七)膜厚均一性
將感光性樹脂組成物以流延塗佈的方式,塗佈在960mm x 1100mm之矩形玻璃基板上,然後於110℃溫度下預烤90秒鐘,形成預烤塗膜。接著以Tencor α-step觸針式測定儀量測膜厚;第六圖係顯示膜厚測定點的分佈狀態,其中,玻璃基板(61)沿x軸方向的長度為960nm,沿y軸方向的長度為1100nm,令該基板(61)於x=0的一端為開始端(62),該基板(61)相對於該開始端(62)的另一端為末端(63),感光性樹脂組成物的流延塗佈方向係自該開始端(62)平行於x軸指向該末端(63)。
令FT(avg)係(x,y)座標為:(240,275)、(480,275)、(720,275)、(240,550)、(480,550)、(720,550)、(240,825)、(480,825)、及(720,825),共9個測定點(64)所測得膜厚之平均值。

據前所述,實施例1~9均為能夠滿足顏料凝集現象減少、顯影時之顯影性佳且顯影後所形成之圖案無底切等預期目的之實施例,其中,又以實施例1~6及實施例8為較佳實施例。
比較例1
同實施例1之操作方法,不同之處係改變光起始劑(C)之用量、溶劑(D)之用量與顏料(E)之種類,其配方及評價結果載於表二。

Claims (10)
- 一種彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,包含:鹼可溶性樹脂(A);含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B);光起始劑(C);有機溶劑(D);及顏料(E);其中,該顏料(E)包含下記結構式(1)所表示之鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1);
- 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之彩色濾光片用感光 性樹脂組成物,其中,該組成物在45℃溫度下保管7日時之黏度變化率,相對於初期黏度為10%以下。
- 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,基於鹼可溶性樹脂(A)100重量份,該鹵化酞菁化合物(E-1)使用量為50~500重量份。
- 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,O-醯基肟系光起始劑(C-1)與三氮雜苯系光起始劑(C-2)之重量比為25/75~75/25。
- 依據申請專利範圍第4項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,O-醯基肟系光起始劑(C-1)與三氮雜苯系光起始劑(C-2)之重量比為30/70~70/30。
- 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,基於光起始劑(C)總重量為100重量%,該光起始劑(C-1)與該光起始劑(C-2)之合計使用量為40~100重量%。
- 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,該鹼可溶性樹脂(A)係由含一個或一個以上之羧酸基之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)5~50重量份,以及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)95~50重量份所共聚合而成,且,含一個或一個以上之羧酸基之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)合計100重量份。
- 依據申請專利範圍第7項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物,其中,該含一個或一個以上之羧酸基之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-1)係選自於由丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、2- 甲基丙烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯及2-異丁烯醯乙氧基丁二酸酯所組成之群組。
- 一種彩色濾光片,包含畫素層,其中,該畫素層係使用申請專利範圍第1~8項中任一項所述之彩色濾光片用感光性樹脂組成物所形成者。
- 一種液晶顯示元件,該液晶顯示元件包含申請專利範圍第9項所述之彩色濾光片。
