Description

用以在植入對象顱骨提供通道或感測其顱內情形之套件
本發明是有關於一種顱骨內植入裝置,且特別是有關於可植入一植入對象的顱骨中來提供一通道,用以容置感測裝置來感測植入對象之顱內情形的顱骨內植入裝置。
在現代醫學治療或研究中,有時為不同目的,例如量測顱內壓力或監測腦波情形,需對一感測對象(人類或動物)的顱內情形進行監測。目前已發展出多種方法來監測,舉例來說,可對此感測對象之顱骨進行手術,以形成一暫時性開口來置入監測裝置。再者,微感測器或微驅動元件亦可被植入感測對象的顱內,以進行感測。
然而,當顱內監測暫時停止或終止時,所植入之微感測器必須再次進行手術才可移除。且若需再次進行顱內監測,則必須再次進行植入或手術過程。
因此本發明之一方面係在於提供一種套件,其可提供一通道由植入對象之顱骨的外表面延伸至內表面,因而不同的感測裝置可置入此通道中,以感測植入對象的顱內情形。
本發明之又一方面係在於提供一種套件,藉以感測植入對象的顱內情形。
根據本發明之實施例,本發明之套件可包含顱骨內植 入裝置、密封元件及彈性密封環。顱骨內植入裝置可用以植入一植入對象的顱骨中,以提供一通道,不同的感測裝置可置入於此通道中,以感測植入對象的顱內情形。若無需感測顱內情形,或暫時終止感測時,感測裝置可直接被移除,並藉由密封元件和彈性密封環來密封通道。之後,若需再次感測顱內情形時,密封元件和彈性密封環可被移除,以允許再次設置適合之感測裝置於顱骨內植入裝置內。
為讓本發明之上述和其他目的、特徵、優點與實施例能更明顯易懂,本說明書將特舉出一系列實施例來加以說明。但值得注意的是,此些實施例只是用以說明本發明之實施方式,而非用以限定本發明。
請參照第1A圖和第1B圖,其繪示一套件100,用以提供一通道,其中此通道可延伸至一植入對象或患者的顱骨內。在此所提及之”植入對象”或”患者”係用以表示套件100所設置之個體,其可為健康或患病之人類或動物。此套件100具有複數個元件,其較佳可分別預先容設於複數個包裝袋中,亦可容設於一容器(未繪示)中,例如:塑膠袋或封套等。套件100可包含顱骨內植入裝置110、密封元件120及彈性密封環130。顱骨內植入裝置110係用以植入植入對象的顱骨內,如第1B圖所示,顱骨內植入裝置110包括有中空筒體111和凸部112,其中凸部112形成於中空筒體111內。中空筒體111較佳係以鈦或鈦合金所製成,並可塗佈有氫氧基磷灰石(Hydroxyapatite; HA)或其他具有骨 質相容性及可促進骨質生長之材料。顱骨內植入裝置110之表面亦可為一鈦噴漿塗膜層(Plasma-Sprayed Titanium)。本發明之密封元件120可包括有栓塞121和螺固元件122,螺固元件122係用以螺固於顱骨內植入裝置110,以固定栓塞121於顱骨內植入裝置110內,此外,本發明之密封元件120亦可為一密封螺栓(未繪示)。密封元件120較佳係以高剛性之生物相容材料所製成。栓塞121可具有頭部123和柄部124,柄部124係用以容置於中空筒體111內。螺固元件122具有複數個外螺紋125,以螺合於中空筒體111內的內螺紋114。凹槽126形成於螺固元件122之一端,用以允許一螺固工具(未繪示)來螺合此螺固元件122於中空筒體111中。在本實施例中,柄部124係呈矩形結構,且對應於顱骨內植入裝置110之凸部112所定義出之矩形孔(如第2圖所示)。彈性密封環130較佳係以具有生物相容性的彈性材料所製成,其設置於密封元件120和顱骨內植入裝置110的凸部112之間。
請參照第1A圖和第1B圖,其繪示依照本發明之顱骨內植入裝置110植入於植入對象的顱骨101中,以提供一由顱骨101之外表面延伸至內表面的通道。中空筒體111具有複數個外螺紋113,以螺合於植入對象之顱骨101的一預設通孔102內,如第2圖所示,複數個凹槽115係形成於中空筒體111的一端,藉以允許一螺固工具(未繪示)來螺合中空筒體111於植入對象的顱骨101內。各種不同的感測裝置可置入於顱骨內植入裝置110所提供之通道中,以感測植入對象(或患者)的顱內情形,例如:顱內壓力、腦皮 層電圖測量(Electrocorticography; EcoG)或腦脊液中的葡萄糖(或氧氣)濃度。之後,若無需感測顱內情形,或暫時終止感測時,感測裝置可直接被移除,並藉由密封元件120和彈性密封環130來設置於顱骨內植入裝置110中,以密封顱骨內植入裝置110所提供之通道。凸部112可為一環形凸部,其形成於中空筒體111內,以卡掣彈性密封環130。如第4圖所示,當螺固元件122用以螺合於顱骨內植入裝置110之內螺紋114時,螺固元件122可抵掣彈性密封環130來緊配於凸部112上,因而避免腦脊液由顱骨101內逸漏至顱骨101外。值得注意的是,若需再次感測顱內情形時,密封元件120和彈性密封環130可被移除,以再次設置適合之感測裝置於顱骨內植入裝置110內。
雖然本發明可適合於其他需長期提供通道於顱骨中之應用,以下敘述一示範應用,其係以一感測裝置設置於通道中,來監測腦皮層電圖。
請參照第5圖,一用以感測植入對象之腦皮層電圖的套件係標示為200,套件200可包含顱骨內植入裝置210、連接栓221、中空螺固元件222、彈性密封環230、導引筒240及可撓性電路薄膜250(如第6圖所示)。顱骨內植入裝置210係實質相似於顱骨內植入裝置110(第1A圖和第1B圖),關於相似處在此不再贅述。其中此中空螺固元件222具有外螺紋225和凹槽226。
如第5圖所示,導引筒240較佳係以具有生物相容性的彈性材料所製成,例如矽膠,其具有一中空柄部241,用以插置於顱骨內植入裝置210的中空筒體211內。四個導 引孔243係形成於中空柄部241上,且實質接近於導引筒240的底部242。連接栓221具有頭部223和柄部224,頭部223具有一接觸端227,柄部224係用以插置於導引筒240的中空柄部241中。
請參照第6圖和第9圖,可撓性電路薄膜250較佳係以高生物相容性的可撓性材料所製成,例如:PI或矽膠。可撓性電路薄膜250之一部分251係用以穿過導引筒240的導引孔243,而延伸至顱骨的內表面,可撓性電路薄膜250之其他部分252係連接於連接栓221的柄部224。可撓性電路薄膜250可包括有一感測電路或微型元件(例如微感測器或微致動器)。在本實施例中,可撓性電路薄膜250可具有四感測電極,其形成於可撓性電路薄膜250的此部分251,用以收集顱內腦皮層電圖訊號。
請參照第7圖,當連接栓221藉由中空螺固元件222來螺固於顱骨內植入裝置210中時,連接栓221的接觸端227係外露於此中空螺固元件222中,以電性連接一外部電路(未繪示)。在本實施例中,一連接器(未繪示)可用以連接接觸端227與一腦皮層電圖訊號監測器。相較於傳統腦皮層電圖訊號記錄裝置,本發明之腦皮層電圖訊號感測套件可提供一較高訊號雜訊比(Signal-to-Noise Ratio)。再者,本發明之可撓性電路薄膜250可形成十字結構,並提供上述感測電路(未繪示)於可撓性電路薄膜250的此四個部分251上,藉以進一步改善訊號雜訊比。當感測植入對象之顱骨101內的情形時,可撓性電路薄膜250可藉由導引筒240之底部242來固定,而可撓性電路薄膜250的此四個部分 251水平地延伸至顱骨101的內側,以提供較佳的感測靈敏度。
值得注意的是,連接栓221、可撓性電路薄膜250、彈性密封環230及導引筒240可設置於顱骨內植入裝置210的中空筒體211內,以預先組裝成一單元。在此預先組裝之單元中,可撓性電路薄膜250的此四個部分251係穿過導引孔243,而未由導引筒240的底部242延伸出(如第8圖所示),以避免影響此預先組裝單元對於植入對象之顱骨101的植入進行。接著,如上所述,此預先組裝單元可植入於植入對象之顱骨101的預設通孔102內。然後,連接栓221可藉由中空螺固元件222來固定於顱骨內植入裝置210中,而可撓性電路薄膜250的此四個部分251可由導引筒240往外延伸,並伸入至顱骨101和腦膜之間。
請參照第10圖和第11圖,第10圖係繪示依照本發明之另一實施例之連接栓121b的立體示意圖,第11圖係繪示依照本發明之另一實施例之對應於連接栓121b之顱骨內植入裝置的俯視示意圖。連接栓121b亦可呈圓柱結構,並具有一定位凸部128形成於連接栓121b之柄部124的外周面上。如第11圖所示,本實施例之中空筒體111b具有一凹口116,其對應於連接栓121b的定位凸部128。因此,當連接栓121b插置於顱骨內植入裝置110b的中空筒體111b時,定位凸部128可卡入定位於中空筒體111b的凹口116,因而當螺固元件122被旋入或旋開時,連接栓121b不會隨著螺固元件122轉動。

Claims (14)

  1. 一種用以提供一通道之套件,其中該通道係由一植入對象之一顱骨的外表面延伸至內表面,該套件至少包含:一顱骨內植入裝置,至少包含:一中空筒體,具複數個外螺紋和複數個內螺紋,該些外螺紋係用以螺合於一植入對象之一顱骨的一預設通孔內,該些內螺紋係形成於該中空筒體內;以及一凸部,突設於該中空筒體之內表面,且該凸部係延伸自該中空筒體之該內表面;一密封元件,用以設置於該中空筒體內,並螺合於該中空筒體內的該些內螺紋,且該密封元件之材料係為高剛性之生物相容材料,且該密封元件至少包含:一栓塞,具有一頭部和一柄部,其中該柄部係用以容置於該中空筒體內;以及一螺固元件,用以螺合於該中空筒體的該些內螺紋,當該螺固元件螺合於該中空筒體中時,該栓塞之該頭部係夾置於該螺固元件及該顱骨內植入裝置之凸部間;以及一彈性密封環,用以設置於該密封元件與該顱骨內植入裝置的該凸部之間;其中,當該密封元件和該彈性密封環係設置於該顱骨內植入裝置內時,該密封元件抵掣該彈性密封環來緊配於該凸部上,藉以避免腦脊液由該植入對象的該顱骨內逸漏至該顱骨外。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之用以提供一通道之套件,其中該顱骨內植入裝置係以鈦或鈦合金所製成。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之用以提供一通道之套件,其中該中空筒體具有至少一第一凹槽,其形成於該中空筒體之一端。

  8. 一種用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之腦皮層電圖套件,該套件至少包含:一顱骨內植入裝置,至少包含: 一中空筒體,具複數個外螺紋和複數個內螺紋,該些外螺紋係用以螺合於一植入對象之一顱骨的一預設通孔內,該些內螺紋係形成於該中空筒體內;以及一凸部,突設於該中空筒體之內表面,且該凸部係延伸自該中空筒體之該內表面;一導引筒,係由該顱骨內植入裝置之下方插置於該顱骨內植入裝置的該中空筒體內,且該導引筒具有一中空柄部、一底部及至少一導引孔,該中空柄部係用以插置於該顱骨內植入裝置的該中空筒體內,該導引孔係形成於該中空柄部上,且實質接近於該底部;一連接栓,係由該顱骨內植入裝置之上方插置於該顱骨內植入裝置的該中空筒體內,該連接栓具有一頭部和一柄部,該頭部具有一接觸端,該柄部係容置於該導引筒的該中空柄部中;一中空螺固元件,用以螺合於該顱骨內植入裝置的該些內螺紋,而固定該連接栓於該顱骨內植入裝置中;一彈性密封環,用以設置於該連接栓的該頭部與該顱骨內植入裝置的該凸部之間,其中當該連接栓係固定於該顱骨內植入裝置內時,該連接栓的該頭部抵掣該彈性密封環來緊配於該凸部上,藉以避免腦脊液由該植入對象的該顱骨內逸漏至該顱骨外,該連接栓之該接觸端係外露於該中空螺固元件中,以電性連接一外部電路;以及一可撓性電路薄膜,具有至少一第一部分和一第二部分,該第一部分係用以過該導引筒的該導引孔,而延伸至該顱骨內,該第二部分係連接於該連接栓的該柄部,該可 撓性電路薄膜係呈十字結構,且該可撓性電路薄膜係收集腦皮層電圖訊號。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該可撓性電路薄膜係以具有生物相容性的材料所製成。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該顱骨內植入裝置係以鈦或鈦合金所製成。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該連接栓係呈非圓形結構。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該連接栓更具有一定位凸部,其形成於該柄部的外周面上。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該中空筒體具有至少一第一凹槽,其形成於該中空筒體之一端。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之用以感測一植入對象顱內情形之套件,其中該栓塞之該中空螺固元件具有至少一第二凹槽,其形成於該中空螺固元件的一端。
