1345755 九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係提供一種用於電漿顯示器的掃描電路之切換方法,尤 指一種用於降低電漿顯示器之切換雜訊的掃描電路之柔性切換方 法。 【先前技術】 近年來,電漿顯示器因為有著高亮度、高發光效率以及寬廣的 可視角度等特性而活躍地發展著。電漿顯示器是一種藉由氣體放 電產生的電聚雜;f釋放產生料光,&料光激料光材料來 產生影像的平面顯示器。 電_示器包含兩片平行的玻璃基板,並在兩片玻璃基板間封 入氣體混合物。多數第—維持電極,稱為X電極,以及多數第二 維持電極’稱為γ電極,其平行設置於前玻璃基板上。多數定址 1:極》又置於後玻璃基板上。於該些電極上施加電壓以對氣體混合 物放電射田電路電性連接於γ電極和驅動電路用以將資料載 入電漿員示器中。亦即,驅動電路係藉由掃描電路而電性連接至Y 電極。 為了降低掃描電路的切換耗損及切換雜訊,電聚顯示器的掃抬 電路中的高端_應該於零電壓切換模式巾或是接近於零電壓切 換模式的情況下切換。 /55 【發明内容】 本發明係提供—魏使—電漿辭器掃描電路的—高端開關 一零,切換模式中切換之方法。該掃描電路包含該高端開關、 低端開關:-第—二極體和一第二二極體。該高端開關電性連 接於一第-節點及-γ 。該第—二極體包含有—陰極,電性 連接於該第1點’和—陽極,電性連接於該Υ電極。該低端開 關電性連接於該γ電極及—第二節點,而該第二二極體包含有一 陰極’電性連接於該γ電極,和一陽極,電性連接於該第二節點。 該切換方法首先關_高端_並該低端關,用以提供一 第-電壓於該Υ電極及該第二節點,織當該丫電極及該第二節 點之電壓等於該第1壓時’關閉該低端開關。然後改變該第二 節點之電壓至一第二電壓,並將該Υ電極之電壓維持在該第一電 壓’其中該第-電壓及該第二電壓之電壓差值大於該第—節點之 電壓與該第二電壓之電壓差值,因而能啟動該第一二極體,而能 將該第一節點之電壓提供給該Υ電極。最後,於零電壓切換模式 中開啟該高端開關。 【實施方式】 本發明提供一種於零電壓切換模式下之切換電漿顯示器的掃 描電路中之高端開關的切換方法。為能夠達到在零電壓切換模式 下切換,必須將在電漿顯示器的掃描電路中之高端開關導通之 前,先將高端開關的寄生二極體或設計中既有的二極體先行導
