Abstract
A burning type flux for submerged arc welding is characterized by the welding slag of submerged arc welding being used as part of flux material, and the specific surface area of the flux is less than 0.3 m<SP>2</SP>/cm<SP>3</SP>. A burning type flux for submerged arc welding is characterized by the welding slag powder and flux material power containing 5 to 10 wt% of iron being used as flux material, and the specific surface area of the flux is less than 0.3 m<SP>2</SP>/cm<SP>3</SP> or less. This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a burning type flux for submerged arc welding, which is a manufacturing method for firing type flux comprising mixing flux material with a binder, pelletizing, and firing, characterized by pulverizing the welding slag of submerged arc welding into welding slag powder with particle size less than 300 mu m and specific surface area of 0.1 to 0.5 m<SP>2</SP>/g, which is used as part of the flux material. This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a burning type flux for submerged arc welding, which is a manufacturing method for firing type flux comprising mixing flux material with a binder, pelletizing, and firing, characterized by pulverizing the welding slag of submerged arc welding into welding slag powder with particle size less than 300 mu m and specific surface area of 0.1 to 0.5 m<SP>2</SP>/g, which is mixed with welding flux material containing 5 to 10 wt% of iron with particle size less than 300 mu m to be the flux material.
