經濟部中央標隼局員工消費合作社印製 A7 __ B7______ 五、發明説明(4 ) 在德國OffenlegungSChrift第 2,500,683 號中,Brantl 揭示了許多種可添加於烴類燃料中之催化金屬’其係可減 少内燃機燃燒時一氧化氮及氧化一氧化碳之形成。此案曾 及了可各自添加或以混合物的形成,將有機金屬或其格林 納(Grignard)化合物,如:鋰、鈉、鉛:鈹、鎂、鋁、鎵 、鋅、鶴、蹄、磁、珍、硼、錯、銻、及/或錫等,添加 於燃料中;同樣地,亦可將具不同配位基之金屬錯合物, 如:銳、欽、訊、鉻、鎂、鐵、姑、鎳、銅、鋅、釕、錄 、崔ε、鐵、敏、舶、.銀、金、嫁、翻、錯及水銀等之錯舍 物,各別或以混合物型式添加於燃枓中。該案對鉑族金屬 鐵、銥及鉑等,建議了一廣泛的、有用於其所列示之化合 物之濃度,係自0.347到3.123克/每升之燃料,尤佳之範 圍爲自0.868到1.735克/每升燃料。然而,因顧慮到此等 金屬及含此等金屬化合物之價格,故此案中並不鼓勵使用 金屬之有效高含量;再者,其時尚未得知四甲基鉑化合物 之存在。 在美國專利弟2,402,427號中,Miller和Lieber揭示了 多種架油可溶性之有機及有機金屬化合物、以自〇. 〇 2到3 % (即:20 0到30,000份/每百萬)之濃度、作爲點火促進劑之 用途,所例示的烷基金屬硝酸鹽化合物爲丁基硝酸汞。 在頒给Bowers和Sprague之美國專利第4,891,050及第 4,892,5 62號中’係揭示了燃料可溶性鉑族金屬化合物,於 相當低的濃度下,可分別有效地改善汽油及柴油引擎。較 佳者係特別調配成分子中含有高親脂性基團,以改善燃料 本紙張尺度適用中國 (#先闔讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 訂 r _ - 7 - A7 ----- B7_ 五、發明説明(5 ) / 溶解度。 在商業上的蒸餾燃料之輸送、辟存及販售過程中,想減 少燃料中或其容器裝置衍生的水並不切實際,例如,在販 售之同時,柴油燃料及汽油中皆會分散了約〇 〇1到約〇 5% 的水,而媒油燃料槽中可能含更多的水。此外,某些燃料 例如”汽油酒精",在調配時,即含有一定量的水,且對水 更具親和力。其他具有水親和力之燃料,包括一些避冬調 奋物,尤其是含有氧化經類者。在頒給Epperly,Sprague ,KelS0和Bowers之w〇 9〇/〇756 1中,提到了:添加劑對 水及燃料之相對親和力,在選擇鉑族金屬燃料添加劑上是 一項重要的考量。相對親和力,又稱分配比,即:鉑族金 屬化合物於每升燃料中之毫克量,比上於每升水中之毫克 量之比値。此案中敎示了高的分配比,即:比 ’絲佳至少約5〇。 4 5 目前所需要的,是一種基於鉑族金屬化合物之燃料添加 劑、,其並不需利用昴貴的燃料可溶性化合物來製備,但卻 可於燃料中含明顯水量時,達到與彼等化合物相同之效果 〇 本發明之掘壬 本發明目的(-,在;^提供—種舶族金屬燃料添加劑, 其可有效於燃料環境中而毋需排除水份之存在。 、::明之另一目的,在於提供一種基於銷族金屬化合物 U添加劑,其並不需利用昂貴的燃料可落性化合物來 製備,但卻可於燃料中含有明顯水量時,達到與化人

經濟部中央標準局員工消費合作社印製 A7 B7 五、發明説明(8 ) 約1:15到約1:25。 此等燃料中亦可包含其他技藝熟悉人士已知之溱加劑, 其包括:抗震劑例如四烷基鋁化合物,鉛清除劑例如鹵烷 類(像:二氯乙烷及二溴乙烷),染料,十六烷促進劑,抗氧 化劑例如:2,6-三-四-丁基甲酚,抑銹劑例如蜱基化琥 #酸及奸類、抑菌劑、抑膠劑、金屬去活化劑、上引擎潤 滑劑、防象劑等。 在自習知處方進行改良時,此等燃料較佳將不包括去乳 化劑。本發明要點之一,係在於:水所造成之鉑族金屬沈 殿之影響,可藉由將水固定於燃料中,較佳爲完全與非極 性燃料成份完全混溶,或以直徑不大於約2 #、較佳以小於 水滴平均重之約1V之水滴型式存在而解決。另應避免水的 個别凹處或池型形成’因爲此會干擾鉑族金屬於燃料中之 均一貢獻度。 本發明優點之一,在於所製得之有效鉑族金屬添加劑化 合物’不必如習知技藝所敎示之:爲高燃料可溶性,以獲 到取佳之效果。然而,此有效鉑族金屬化合物,可包括任 何討論於或提及於頒給Bowers等人之美國專利第4 89^.050 及第4,892,562號,頒給Epperly等人之美國專利第5 〇34 〇2〇 號,及頒給Peter-Hoblyn等人之美國專利第5,266 〇93號中之 汽油可溶性有機金屬鉑族金屬配位化合物。 除了習知技藝所敎示之高燃料可溶性化合物可穩定存在 於水中之外,本發明使得鉑族金屬之使用變得可行,而其 通常在水的存在下係失敗者。此等鉑族金屬化合物若非僅 (諳先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)
