Description

方向盤套的製作方法
本發明是有關於一種方向盤套的製作方法。
近年來,汽車已成為普遍使用的交通工具。汽車方向盤是駕駛者用以操控汽車的主要部位之一,使得汽車方向盤也成為駕駛者在駕駛過程中接觸最多的部位之一。許多人會在方向盤上加裝方向盤套,除了可用來保護方向盤的清潔之外,亦可增加駕駛者操作方向盤的手感,以防止駕駛者操作方向盤時手滑而造成駕駛穩定度不佳。
傳統的方向盤套多為皮革材質或人造皮革材質,其將多個裁剪成小塊的材料依照方向盤的尺寸而縫合成方向盤套。這種方法生產速度慢且成本較高。此外,皮革材質與人造皮革材質的彈性較小,無法緊密地套設於方向盤上,且此類方向盤套上的髒汙與汗水不易清洗。
矽橡膠(silicone rubber)具有較高的彈性與拉伸強度,已被用來取代傳統的皮革或人造皮革材質而製作成方向盤套。矽 橡膠方向盤套可拉伸後套設於方向盤上,並緊密貼合方向盤,以避免駕駛者操作方向盤時,方向盤套與方向盤之間產生太大的相對移動而影響行車安全。習知的矽橡膠方向盤套多是藉由模具一體成型地壓製而成,使得方向盤套的尺寸受到限制。
本發明提供一種方向盤套的製作方法,其具有較大的尺寸適用範圍、較佳的的生產效率與較低的製造成本。
本發明提出一種方向盤套的製作方法,包括下列步驟。提供至少一第一矽橡膠條。將第一矽橡膠條連接成一封閉輪廓,其中塗佈液態矽橡膠在第一矽橡膠條的連接處。硫化第一矽橡膠條與液態矽橡膠而形成方向盤套。
在本發明之一實施例中,上述之第一矽橡膠條與液態矽橡膠為相同材料。
在本發明之一實施例中,還包括:在液態矽橡膠或固態矽橡膠中加入硫化劑。壓軋固態矽橡膠或攪拌液態矽橡膠以均勻分散硫化劑。擠出一第二矽橡膠條。以烘道烘烤矽橡膠條。裁切第二矽橡膠條以形成上述的至少一第一矽橡膠條。
在本發明之一實施例中,上述之第一矽橡膠條或第二矽橡膠條具有中空輪廓。
基於上述,本發明提出一種方向盤套的製作方法,其將至少一矽橡膠條的兩端利用液態矽橡膠連接而形成封閉輪廓後進 行硫化,以成型出方向盤套。據此,本發明之方向盤套的製作方法適於製作不同尺寸的方向盤套,可提高方向盤套的生產效率並降低成本。
為讓本發明的上述特徵和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉實施例,並配合所附圖式作詳細說明如下。

圖1是本發明一實施例之方向盤套的製作流程圖。圖2是以圖1的流程製作而成的方向盤套的示意圖。請同時參考圖1與圖2,在本實施例中,方向盤套100的製作方法包括下列步驟:在步驟S110中,將矽橡膠加入硫化劑。在步驟S120中,擠出矽橡膠條。在步驟S130中,將矽橡膠條經由烘道進行烘烤後收集。在步驟S140中,將擠出的矽橡膠條裁切出一預定長度的矽橡膠條110。在步驟S150中,將具有預定長度的該矽橡膠條110連接成封閉輪廓,在本實施例中為圓形,但亦可為其他形狀,其中在連接處塗佈液態矽橡膠120。在步驟S160中,將連接成封閉輪廓的 矽橡膠條110與液態矽橡膠120進行硫化。據此,便能以上述步驟成型出方向盤套100。
進一步說明如下。首先,在步驟S110中,可將固態矽橡膠加入硫化劑後壓軋成矽橡膠,以使硫化劑能在其中均勻分散。另外,亦可在液態矽橡膠中加入硫化劑後,以攪拌方式使硫化劑均勻分散。接著,在步驟S120中,在藉由擠出機而擠出中空狀的矽橡膠條過程中,可擠出長度較長的矽橡膠條以供烘烤,並在步驟S130中經過烘烤之後,矽橡膠條再依據方向盤套100的尺寸需求裁切成多條預定長度的矽橡膠條110。此舉在擠出矽橡膠條時無須考慮其長度,亦即在生產線上的製造者在此階段時可盡量延伸矽橡膠條的長度。據此,在後續完成烘烤製程之後,方再依據所需的尺寸而進行裁切。如此一來,將提高矽橡膠條的在長度方面的適用性,其不但能提高前段製程(擠出中空狀的矽橡膠條)的生產效率,還能提高擠出後的矽橡膠條的材料利用率。
接著,在步驟S150、S160中,當得到上述已裁切成適當長度的矽橡膠條110後,此時先將矽橡膠條110以液態矽橡膠120塗佈在其兩端,而後將此矽橡膠條110連接成圓形(在此為清楚描述液態矽橡膠120,故在圖2中以較厚的厚度繪製),其中矽橡膠條110的兩端便形成一連接處112。之後,再將矽橡膠條110與塗佈其上的液態矽橡膠120一起進行硫化,而使矽橡膠條110藉由其連接處的液態矽橡膠120的硫化作用而形成方向盤套100。
在本實施例中,矽橡膠條110與液態矽橡膠120為相同 材料。因此,液態矽橡膠120在經過硫化之後,除了可將矽橡膠條110互相接合之外,更可在方向盤套100製作完成之後使方向盤套100的各部位具有相同強度。
圖3是本發明另一實施例的方向盤套的示意圖。與上述實施例不同的是,方向盤套300是由2條矽橡膠條110所組成,故其在兩個連接處120接塗佈以液態矽橡膠而加以結合。基於上述,本案的方向盤套300尚能因此而調整環狀尺寸,亦即在擠出成型矽橡膠條之後,後續製作出方向盤套的矽橡膠條110,其製作方式與條件皆可依照需求而加以調整。
圖4是圖2之方向盤套套設於方向盤的示意圖。請參考圖2、圖3與圖4,當矽橡膠條110藉由本發明之方向盤套的製作方法製作成方向盤套100後,呈中空輪廓的方向盤套100可套設於例如是汽車的方向盤200上。
綜上所述,本發明提出一種方向盤套的製作方法,其將矽橡膠條利用液態矽橡膠連接成圓形再進行硫化,而成型出方向盤套。再者,由於在擠出過程中無須考慮矽橡膠條的長度,而能提高產線的生產效率,並進而在後續依照方向盤的尺寸需求裁切出預定長度的矽橡膠條,亦能有效提高其材料利用率。此外,方向盤套能依據方向盤的尺寸而選擇適當數量與長度的矽橡膠條,因而讓本發明的方向盤套具有較大的適用範圍。
雖然本發明已以實施例揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本發明,任何所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者,在不脫離本發明的 精神和範圍內,當可作些許的更動與潤飾,故本發明的保護範圍當視後附的申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

Claims (3)

  1. 一種方向盤套的製作方法,包括:提供至少一第一矽橡膠條;將該第一矽橡膠條的端部相互連接而形成封閉輪廓,其中塗佈液態矽橡膠在該第一矽橡膠條的連接處;以及硫化該第一矽橡膠條與液態矽橡膠而形成該方向盤套。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之方向盤套的製作方法,其中該第一矽橡膠條與液態矽橡膠為相同材料。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之方向盤套的製作方法,更包括:在液態矽橡膠或固態矽橡膠中加入硫化劑;壓軋固態矽橡膠或攪拌液態矽橡膠以均勻分散硫化劑;擠出一第二矽橡膠條以烘道烘烤該矽橡膠條;以及裁切該第二矽橡膠條以形成該至少一第一矽橡膠條。
