包含緊固材料之網片物在各種應用中(特定言之,在個人護理產業中)用作(例如)用於尿布及其類似物之緊固件。由於此等緊固材料典型地由相對硬質的塑膠材料組成,故此等材料之表面關於觸覺為相當不適的或甚至刺激可接觸該等材料的皮膚。因此,在用於個人護理應用中之情況下,此等緊固材料之背面典型地由更軟、更舒適且較不刺激的材料(諸如,非編織物)層覆蓋。
US 2006/0265867揭示將卡鉤材料暫時耦接至纖維性非環圈材料之裝置及方法,該暫時耦接係藉由將卡鉤材料引入至非環圈材料且用超音波振動該等材料中之至少一者以導致該兩種材料之間的暫時嚙合。
JP 2011/015796揭示用於將尿布的前部主體固定至後部主體的緊固帶,其能夠容易地附著且具有幾乎不可自基底材料移除的卡鉤部件。緊固帶用於將尿布的前部主體固定至後部主體。緊固帶包括由非編織物製成之基底材料,及待黏附至基底材料之表面之一部分的機械緊固件之卡鉤部件。表面熔合部分(其中前表面上之纖維網片物彼此 熱密封)形成於對應卡鉤部件之黏附區域的基底材料之表面上,且卡鉤部件黏附至表面熔合部分。
用以將該覆蓋層結合至一緊固材料的一個簡單且有成本效益的方式為焊接,特定言之超音波焊接。藉助於超音波焊極,材料係在特定結合點焊接至(例如)非編織物。然而,歸因於在焊接期間產生的熱且歸因於超音波焊極具有給定大小之事實,緊固材料之存在於結合點處的若干機械緊固件遭到破壞。因此,一旦結合至非編織物層,緊固材料即具有較少及/或受損的機械緊固件,此對緊固材料之效能造成負面影響。
因此,本發明之一目標為提供一種將一緊固材料結合至另一材料之經改良方法以及提供一種克服上述缺點之經改良網片物。藉由如技術方案1之網片物及如技術方案8之方法來達成此目標。附屬技術方案參考較佳實施例。
本發明係關於一種包含一第一材料之一第一層及一緊固材料之一第二層的網片物。該第二層具有第一及第二主要表面且具備(較佳地多個)機械緊固件。該等機械緊固件可在該第一主要表面上具有桿(stem)。此外,該等機械緊固件可具有蓋(cap)以形成卡鉤。該第二材料之該第二主要表面面對該第一層,且該第二層在鄰接的機械緊固件之間的區域處結合至該第一層,且該第二層在機械緊固件下的區域處不結合至該第一層。換言之,在機械緊固件下面的緊固材料較佳地完全不結合至該第一層。實情為,以此方式限制結合點或區域,以使得實質上無機械緊固件,且更佳地僅很少幾個機械緊固件,且較佳無機械緊固件直接提供在任何結合點或區域上。
如本發明中所使用的機械緊固件可包含桿。此外,機械緊固可包含擴大的頭端,諸如具有或不具有桿的蓋。在後一種情況下,可不 用桿而將蓋直接結合至基板。此外,緊固元件可包含卡鉤。
因此,本發明係基於僅在較佳完全位於鄰接的機械緊固件之間的結合點或區域處將緊固材料結合至第一材料的想法。因此,結合不對機械緊固件造成負面影響,從而產生材料具有經改良效能之網片物。
在本發明之上下文中,「結合」包括離散的且可能不連續的結合線,該等結合線彼此隔開。
雖然該第二層可藉由焊接、較佳藉由超音波焊接或熱結合而結合至該第一層,但其他結合方法(諸如激光焊接)亦可為可想像的。
更佳地,該第一材料為一非編織物。

本發明進一步係關於一種製造一網片物,較佳地如上所述之網片物之方法。根據該方法,提供一第一材料之一第一網片物及一緊固材料之一第二網片物。該第二網片物具有第一及第二主要表面且具備在該第一主要表面上具有桿且視情況的蓋之機械緊固件之一圖案。該方法進一步包含以該第二網片物之一第二主要表面面對該第一網片 物之方式將該第二網片物結合至該第一網片物的步驟。該第二網片物在鄰接的機械緊固件之間的區域處結合至該第一網片物,且該第二網片物在該等機械緊固件下的區域處不結合至該第一網片物。該等機械緊固件可視情況包含一擴大的頭端部分(諸如蓋)以形成卡鉤。

根據本發明之方法及超音波焊極及/或砧係用於包含一緊固材料之一網片物之技術進階製造製程,該緊固材料結合至另一材料之層。一旦已建構一適合超音波焊極,發明方法即可以高速度、高準確度及低成本執行。發明方法產生發明網片物,其具有就剪切強度及剝離強度而言相比於獨立於卡鉤列之超音波結合的傳統方法優良的網片物效能,因為根據本發明,在結合製程期間無機械緊固件遭到破壞。

圖1展示用於尿布之先前技術緊固舌片之相片。緊固舌片包含由非編織物層及卡鉤材料層組成的網片物,該等層在特定結合點處藉助於超音波焊接彼此結合,該等特定結合點彼此分離且於圖1中以卡鉤材料中之「壓痕」可見。在圖2及圖3之放大相片中,此等壓痕可更好地辨識。如自彼等圖式顯而易見,此等先前技術網片物之結合點覆蓋若干卡鉤(圖3中之約九個卡鉤)之區域且先前已存在於結合點處的卡鉤完全遭到破壞(由於藉由超音波焊接之結合,其基本上熔化在整個結合點內的卡鉤材料)。舉例而言,在圖3中可見的放大結合點中,七個卡鉤已被完全抹除且至少其他五個卡鉤實質上被破壞。因此,先前技術網片物之此等結合點有害地影響材料之效能(例如,剪切強度及剝離強度),因為更少的(完整)卡鉤可用於與環圈材料嚙合。
為了克服此問題,本發明提供一種網片物,其包含第一材料之第一層及緊固(例如卡鉤)材料之第二層,其中第二層僅在鄰接的卡鉤 桿之間的區域處結合至第一層。此可(例如)藉助於包含以一圖案配置的多個角狀尖端之超音波焊極來達成。在圖4中展示包含此超音波焊極10、砧12(其用於將第一網片物1結合至第二網片物2)之製造器件的實例。
根據本發明方法,提供第一材料(諸如,非編織物)之第一網片物1,且以第一主要表面3上的具有桿5a之卡鉤5之圖案來提供緊固材料(例如,卡鉤材料)之第二網片物2,其具有第一主要表面3及第二主要表面4(參見圖6)。第二網片物2係以第二網片物2之第二主要表面4面對第一網片物1之方式結合至第一網片物1,其中第二網片物2於鄰接的卡鉤桿5a之間的區域6處結合至第一網片物1。
根據一較佳實施例,該結合步驟係藉由具有多個角狀尖端11之超音波焊極10執行,該多個角狀尖端以調整為卡鉤5之圖案的圖案配置。如圖6中所示,角狀尖端11之大小經調整為鄰接卡鉤5之間的距離,且較佳以梳狀圖案來配置多個角狀尖端11,其中第一網片物1及第二網片物2係沿著超音波焊極10、較佳在超音波焊極10與砧12之間移動。
由於具有多個角狀尖端之特定超音波焊極僅允許至結合區域6的經良好界定的能量轉移,故在此等區域6處僅結合第一網片物1及第二網片物2,且卡鉤5及桿5a未受到焊接製程有害影響。如圖4中所示,可通過超音波焊極10與砧12之間的輥隙持續進料第一網片物1及第二網片物2。當然,圖6中所示之尺寸僅為例示性的,且只要角狀尖端11之形狀及/或尺寸經調整為鄰接卡鉤及/或卡鉤桿之間的距離及/或卡鉤之形狀,超音波焊極10之角狀尖端11可具有完全不同的形狀及/或尺寸。舉例而言,超音波焊極10之角狀尖端11亦可具有T形輪廓以便更好地嚙合在鄰接卡鉤5之間的間隙。
根據本發明之所得網片物展示於圖7及圖8之(顯微)相片中,該等 圖以俯視圖(圖7)及截面圖(圖8)展示本發明網片物。如可自此等圖式獲知且自圖7最明顯,本發明網片物包含沿著卡鉤列之間的加工方向延伸的結合線6。卡鉤5在圖7中以一方形陣列配置。兩個鄰接卡鉤列之間的距離為0.27mm(卡鉤蓋至卡鉤蓋之距離)。結合線在加工方向中連續且配置於每一卡鉤列之間。卡鉤材料之第二網片物2僅沿著此等結合線6結合至在該卡鉤材料之第一網片物。此等結合線6在卡鉤5之鄰接行之間延伸。雖然圖7將結合線6展示為具有向左手側的輕微偏差,但較佳地,結合線6相對於卡鉤5之鄰接行實質上居中。
如可自圖8所示之截面獲知,卡鉤材料之第二層2僅在結合區域或線6處受到該結合步驟影響。然而,周圍卡鉤材料且特定言之卡鉤保持完整。
在圖9至圖12之示意性透視圖中展示根據本發明之超音波焊極的較佳實施例。用於製造此等圖中所示的本發明網片物之器件包含可旋轉超音波焊極滾輪10及可旋轉砧滾輪12。兩個滾輪形成輥隙,藉由旋轉該兩個滾輪而將第一材料之第一網片物1及卡鉤材料之第二網片物2進料至該輥隙以便僅在鄰接卡鉤桿之間的區域處將卡鉤材料之第二網片物結合至第一網片物。如於圖12中可見,砧滾輪12可包含以一圖案配置的多個角狀尖端。在所示實例中,砧滾輪12包含以圓周線配置的多個角狀尖端,該等圓周線的間距經調整為卡鉤材料之第二網片物2中的卡鉤的間距。此外,如圖12所示,超音波焊極滾輪10亦可包含經調整為角狀尖端之圖案的表面。在圖12所示的實例中,砧包含矩形突起之圖案。該圖案有助於將由超音波焊極提供的超音波能量僅集中至結合區域。
實例
為了將先前技術網片物之卡鉤與根據本發明之網片物之卡鉤的效能進行比較,已製備四份不同的樣品。用於第二層之卡鉤材料為微 複製卡鉤CHK-00732(購自3M)或被命名為M2的材料。CHK-00732材料之卡鉤係由聚丙烯製成且第二層之基本重量在100μm之厚度下為117g/m2。M2材料(其與CHK-00732類似)之基本重量在170μm之厚度下為180g/m2。兩種材料均具有每平方吋大致1,600個直徑約0.35mm的卡鉤。用於第二層之卡鉤材料係藉助於超音波焊接結合至非編織物(Pegatex S,由具有70g/m2之密度的聚丙烯製成的紡黏物,購自Pegas)。結合係根據如圖7至圖11所示的本發明(實例1及2)以及根據如圖1及圖2所示的先前技術(比較實例1及2)執行。
在所有實例及比較實例上進行的焊接均使用圖4所示的簡單測試設備執行。所使用的超音波產生器來自Telsonic Ultrasonics(Bronschhofen,Switzerland),其具有500W之功率且以36kHz之操作頻率工作。焊接速度為1m/min。對於實例,超音波焊極表面具有角狀尖端且砧為平坦的。
對於比較實例,砧之圖案為6mm x 10mm且各接腳具有0.2mm之直徑,且超音波焊極為平坦的。砧由鋁製成且接腳由碳化物金屬製成。超音波焊極由鈦製成。對於實例,經特別研磨的超音波焊極由鈦製成。研磨工具為0.4mm寬的鋸條。各列之間的距離為0.62mm,適合於M2卡鉤材料及CHK-0732卡鉤材料。角狀尖端之高度為0.7mm。砧由鋁製成且具有平坦表面。
使用EBL Light(可自3M獲得)、由波紋聚丙烯纖維製成的結合至擠出薄膜的非編織物定位區或作為定位區的針織環圈材料(aplix N31)於此等實例及比較實例之各者上進行根據標準測試方法ASTM D5170-98之剝離強度測試及根據標準測試方法ASTM D5169-98之剪切強度測試(使用13mm寬的卡鉤及25mm長的樣品)。
針對不同範圍在下表中展示對於各範圍使用十份不同的樣品之剝離強度測試的結果(針對0mm至20mm、18mm至24mm及至多40 mm之剝離強度測試之結果):

如吾人可自此等結果獲知,使用任何定位區材料且使用兩種不同卡鉤樣品,根據本發明之網片物展示比先前技術網片物好的剝離及剪切效能。

Claims (18)

  1. 一種網片物,其包含一第一材料之一第一層(1)及一緊固材料之一第二層(2),該第二層(2)具有第一及第二主要表面(3、4)且具備在該第一主要表面(3)上具有桿(5a)且視情況的蓋(5b)之機械緊固件(5),該第二層(2)之該第二主要表面(4)面對該第一層(1),其中該第二層(2)在鄰接的機械緊固件(5)之間的區域(6)處結合至該第一層(1)且其中該第二層(2)在該等機械緊固件(5)下的區域處不結合至該第一層(1)。
  2. 如請求項1之網片物,其中該第二層(2)係藉由焊接、較佳超音波焊接或熱結合而結合至該第一層(1)。
  3. 如請求項1或2之網片物,其中該第一材料為一非編織物。
  4. 如請求項1之網片物,其中該第二層(2)具備機械緊固件(5)之一規則圖案且其中該第二層(2)係沿著在鄰接的機械緊固件(5)之間延伸的線結合至該第一層(1)。
  5. 如請求項4之網片物,其中該網片物界定一縱向及一橫向方向且其中該等線在該縱向及/或該橫向方向中延伸。
  6. 如請求項1之網片物,其中該等線為連續或不連續的線或包含點或其組合。
  7. 如請求項1之網片物,其中該等線為直線或彎曲的或其組合。
  8. 一種製造一網片物、較佳如前述請求項中任一者之網片物的方法,該方法包含:提供一第一材料之一第一網片物(1);提供一緊固材料之一第二網片物(2),該第二網片物(2)具有第一及第二主要表面(3、4)且具備在該第一主要表面(3)上具有桿(5a)且視情況的蓋之機械緊固件(5)之一圖案; 其中該第二網片物(2)在鄰接的機械緊固件(5)之間的區域(6)處結合至該第一網片物(1)且其中該第二網片物(2)在該等機械緊固件(5)下的區域處不結合至該第一網片物(1)。
  9. 如請求項8之方法,其中該結合步驟包含焊接,較佳為超音波焊接或熱結合。
  10. 如請求項8或9中任一項之方法,其中該結合步驟係藉由具有多個角狀尖端(11)的一超音波焊極(10)及/或一砧(12)執行,該多個角狀尖端以調整為機械緊固件(5)之該圖案的一圖案配置。

  12. 如請求項10之方法,其中該多個角狀尖端(11)以一梳狀圖案配置及/或配置在一滾輪上,且其中該結合步驟包含沿著該超音波焊極(10)移動該第一及該第二網片物(1、2)。
  13. 如請求項12之方法,其中該第二網片物(2)藉助於該等機械緊固件(5)與該等角狀尖端(11)之間的嚙合而沿著該超音波焊極(10)導引。
  14. 如請求項10之方法,其中該超音波焊極(10)進一步包含一砧(12),該砧包含調整為機械緊固件(5)之該圖案的一表面結構。

  16. 一種超音波焊極(10)及/或砧(12),其經調適以將一緊固材料結合至一非編織物材料,該超音波焊極(10)包含以一圖案配置的多個角狀尖端(11),其中該多個角狀尖端(11)以一梳狀圖案配置及/或其中該多個角狀尖端(11)配置於一可旋轉滾輪上,且其中該等角狀尖端(11)具有在0.09mm與0.49mm之間、較佳在0.19mm與0.39mm之間的範圍中之一寬度,且其中該等角狀尖端(11)具有在0.25mm與1.5mm之間、較佳在0.45mm與1.3mm之間的範圍 中之一高度。
