1 2 9 5 6號公報(專利 文獻1)所提出之胺基甲酸酯樹脂。然而,近年來考量到 大氣污染、火災的危險性、作業衛生方面等,水性黏合劑 乃逐漸受到矚目。 水性黏合劑’可大致區分爲以苯乙烧.丙稀酸系爲代 表之鹼可溶性樹脂、以聚乙烯醇爲代表之水溶性樹脂以及 以胺基甲酸酯乳膠(專利文獻2:日本特開平2-238015號 公報)、丙烯酸系乳膠爲代表之水分散型樹脂。 —般而言,當使用以水分散型樹脂作爲黏合劑之水性 油墨進行印刷時,係在室溫下於印刷機上將油墨塗佈於被 印刷面,然後乾燥至水分散型樹脂的玻璃轉移溫度以上來 完成。當加溫至此般玻璃轉移溫度以上時,樹脂粒子彼此 會產生全體熔著,均一地覆膜化而顯現出耐水性並逐漸提 升。當著眼於印刷適性中之印刷機上的乾燥性時,印刷油 墨在印刷機上必須盡可能的長時間不會乾燥並保持流動性 ,溶劑型樹脂、鹼可溶性樹脂與水溶性樹脂,即使一旦乾 燥而覆膜化,亦可溶解於溶劑、鹼水溶液與水而回復原先 的流動性,故不會有問題,但是水分散型樹脂,當進行乾 燥使樹脂粒子彼此的表面產生熔著時,在水中亦無法回復 原先狀態,而有無法印刷之問題。另一方面,鹼可溶性樹 脂具有耐鹼性差之問題,水溶性樹脂具有耐水性差之問題 ,因此,以往的黏合劑有時會倂用鹼可溶性樹脂或水溶性 樹脂與水溶性樹脂來調製出,然而,現況仍是當欲改良印 刷適性時,耐鹼性與耐水性惡化,欲改良耐鹼性與耐水性 -6 - 201111397 時,印刷適性變得不足。 爲了解決此問題,日本特開平1 0- 1 76 1 32號公報(專 利文獻3 )中,係提出一種水性油墨用黏合劑,其係由: 選自氯化乙烯、烷基的碳數1~18之(甲基)丙烯酸烷酯類 及單烯基苯類之單體,及選自具有官能基之乙烯性不飽和 單體之單體,及其他乙烯性不飽和單體所構成。然而,就 耐濕性與光澤之觀點來看,仍具有問題。 此外,亦有提出氟樹脂者(專利文獻4 :日本特開平 1 1 -3 5 8 66號公報)。氟樹脂,在耐氣候性、耐腐蝕性等之 種種方面來看爲較佳,但仍存在有成本面的問題。 接著探討噴墨用油墨。噴墨記錄方式,其靜肅性、記 錄速度、列印品質、學習成本較佳,故廣泛地普及。此方 式所用之油墨,就油墨物性、安全性、處理容易度等觀點 來看,係使用水性油墨。此般油墨,爲人所知者有將酸性 染料、直接染料、鹼基性染料等之水溶性染料溶解於二醇 系溶劑與水者(專利文獻5〜7 :日本特開昭5 3 - 6 1 4 1 2號公 報、日本特開昭54-89811號公報、日本特開昭55-65269號 公報),但仍有耐水性差之缺點。 因此’亦有探討使用顔料作爲著色成分者,爲了分散 顏料,係使用導入有羧基之丙烯酸系樹脂與苯乙烯.丙烯 酸酯等(專利文獻8 :日本特開昭61_23 547 8號公報),或 是由丙烯酸、苯乙烯、α甲基苯乙烯所構成之三元共聚物 水性樹脂(專利文獻9 :日本特開平8 - 2 5 3 7 1 6號公報)。 然而,雖然可看到耐水性與耐氣候性的提升,但就顏料分 201111397 散性(隨時間之變化)之觀點來看,仍有改善的空間。 接著探討記錄用紙的吸收層,尤其是噴墨記錄用紙。 近年來’個人電腦等之OA機器用的印表機中,使用水性 油墨之記錄方式之比率逐年提高,對記錄材料的需求亦隨 之擴大’另一方面,爲了更進一步改良列印品質、色彩度 、外觀、圖像,係逐漸要求具有更優良特性之記錄材料。 該使用用途亦逐漸多樣化,使得耐水性、顯色性等之要求 特性更加嚴苛。此般吸收層,係有人提出將非晶質二氧化 矽與聚乙烯醇等之黏結劑調配並塗佈於基礎紙之記錄薄片 (專利文獻10 :日本特開昭55-5 1 5 83號公報),或是將含 有多孔質顏料粒子之油墨吸收層設置在基礎紙的表內面之 記錄薄片(專利文獻11:日本特開昭56-148584號公報) 。與以往使用上等紙張之記錄薄片相比,雖可大幅地提升 色彩鮮豔度,但當塗佈量較少時,油墨會不規則地擴散, 導致列印的滲透量增大,當增加塗佈量時,雖然滲透量較 少,但有塗佈層剝離而產生粉體脫落之問題。 此外,係有人提出一種使用使聚乙烯醇與丙烯酸與甲 基丙烯酸甲酯反應所得之水不溶性樹脂,來改善黏結強度 之記錄薄片(專利文獻12:日本特開昭62-288076號公報 ),但由於水不溶性樹脂爲陰離子性,所以與同爲陰離子 性之水性油墨的固定性差,至今仍未解決油墨的滲出或耐 水性的提升。 再者,亦有人提出含有聚陽離子高分子電解質之記錄 薄片(專利文獻13 :日本特開昭56-84992號公報)與設置 -8- 201111397 有以具有油墨吸附性之陽離子性高分子黏結劑爲主成分之 吸收層之記錄薄片(專利文獻14 :日本特開昭5 8-24493號 公報)’以及含有陽離子性丙烯酸樹脂乳膠之記錄薄片( 專利文獻1 5、1 6 :日本特開平1 1 _ 1 2 3 8 6 7號公報、日本特 開2 0 0 1 - 1 4 8 5 8 4號公報 〔專利文獻12〕日本特開昭62-288076號公報 〔專利文獻I3〕日本特開昭56_84992號公報 〔專利文獻14〕日本特開昭58_24493號公報 〔專利文獻丨5〕日本特開平n_123867號公報 〔專利文獻16〕日本特開2〇〇卜199152號公報 201111397 【發明內容】 (發明所欲解決之課題) 本發明係鑒於上述情形而創作出之發明,其目的係提 供一種當使用在水性油墨時,可發揮較佳的耐水性、耐濕 性、高光澤、耐醇性,當使用在記錄用紙時,可發揮較佳 的顯色性、耐水性、耐濕性、色彩的觀看性、高光澤等, 可有效地運用在油墨、塗料、無機物質分散等之黏合劑、 記錄用紙的吸收層,纖維的處理劑等之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳 膠。 (用以解決課題之手段). 本發明者們係爲了達成上述目的而進行精心探討,結 果發現到,藉由將(A)數量平均分子量爲500 0〜50000之 苯乙烯·丙烯酸酯低聚物及/或丙烯酸酯低聚物,在相對 於含有(B)氯化乙烯單體、或是(B)氯化乙烯單體及可 與其共聚合之(C)含乙烯性不飽和基的單體之單體組成 物100質量份而言爲40〜5 00質量份的存在下進行乳化聚合 所得之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠,能夠克服前述課題,因而完 成本發明。 因此,本發明係提供下列發明。 申請專利範圍第1項: —種氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠,其係將(A)數量平均分 子量爲5000〜50000之苯乙烯·丙烯酸酯低聚物及/或丙烯 -10- 201111397 酸酯低聚物,在相對於含有(B)氯化乙烯單體、或是(B )氯化乙烯單體及可與其共聚合之(C)含乙烯性不飽和 基的單體之單體組成物1〇〇質量份而言爲4〇〜500質量份的 存在下,進行乳化聚合而得。 申I靑專利範圍第2項: 如申請專利範圍第1項之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠,其中 (B)成分與(C)成分之比率以質量比計爲50: 50〜100: 0 ° 申請專利範圍第3項: 一種水性油墨,其係含有申請專利範圍第1或2項之氯 化乙烯系樹脂乳膠。 申請專利範圍第4項: 如申請專利範圍第3項之水性油墨,其中氯化乙烯系 樹脂乳膠的含量以固形份計爲2〜3 0質量%,且尙含有著色 劑3〜40質量%,水可溶性有機溶劑〇〜50質量%,以及水 5~95質量%而成。 申請專利範圍第5項: 一種記錄用紙,其係具有申請專利範圍第1或2項之氣 化乙烯系樹脂乳膠的塗膜。 申請專利範圍第6項: 如申請專利範圍第5項之記錄用紙,其中上述塗膜係 形成吸收層。 申請專利範圍第7項: 如申請專利範圍第5或6項之記錄用紙,其中上述塗膜 -11 - 201111397 係含有氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠的固形份2〜3 0質量%,且以尙 含有顔料0〜3 0質量%、剩餘部分爲水或水可溶性有機溶劑 之組成物所形成。 發明之效果: 本發明之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠,當使用在水性油墨時 ’可發揮較佳的耐水性、耐濕性、高光澤、耐醇性,當使 用在記錄用紙時,可發揮較佳的顯色性、耐水性、耐濕性 、色彩的觀看性、高光澤等,可有效地運用在油墨、塗料 、無機物質分散等之黏合劑、記錄用紙的吸收層,纖維的 處理劑等。 【實施方式】 本發明之氯化乙烯系水性油墨用黏合劑,爲將(A ) 數量平均分子量爲5000-5 0000之苯乙烯·丙烯酸酯低聚物 及/或丙烯酸酯低聚物,在相對於含有(B)氯化乙烯單體 、或是(B)氯化乙烯單體及可與其共聚合之(C)含乙烯 性不飽和基的單體之單體組成物100質量份而言爲40~5 00 質量份的存在下,進行乳化聚合而得之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳 膠。 (A)苯乙烯·丙烯酸酯低聚物、丙烯酸酯低聚物中 所使用之丙烯酸酯單體,可列舉出甲基(丙烯酸)甲酯、 甲基(丙烯酸)乙酯、甲基(丙烯酸)丁酯等。甲基(丙 烯酸)爲丙烯酸與甲基丙烯酸之總稱。市售品可列舉出 -12- 201111397 JONCRYL JDX-6500、JONCRYL JDX-61 02B、JONCRYL HPD-96J ' JONCRYL 52J (均爲BASF公司製)等,但並不 限定於此,可使用1種或2種以上。該用量,相對於含有( B)氯化乙烯單體、或是(B)氯化乙烯單體及可與其共聚 合之(C )含乙烯性不飽和基的單體之單體組成物1 00質量 份而言,較佳爲含有40~5 00質量份,更佳爲含有100〜300 質量份。當.未達40質量份時,可能有產生凝聚物之缺失, 當超過5 00質量份時,反應呈非活化,可能有產生無法安 定生產之缺失。 (A)苯乙烯·丙烯酸酯低聚物、丙烯酸酯低聚物的 數量平均分子量,較佳爲5000〜50000,更佳爲8000〜20000 。當分子量未達5 000時,可能有產生凝聚物之缺失,當超 過5 0000時,凝聚物多量地產生,最差的情況可能會產生 膠體化之缺失。數量平均分子量,爲經以GPC所測定之聚 苯乙烯的換算値,本發明中,係將5 0000以下者稱爲低聚 物。 此外,(C)可與氯化乙烯單體共聚合之含乙烯性不 飽和基的單體,除了乙酸乙烯酯、乙烯、丙烯、偏二氯化 乙烯之外,可列舉出丙酸乙烯酯等之羧酸乙烯酯單體類; 苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯等之芳香族乙烯單體類;1,3-丁二 烯、2-甲基-1,3-丁二烯等之共軛二烯系單體類;丙烯酸甲 酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基 丙烯酸甲酯等之乙烯性不飽和單羧酸酯類;衣康酸二甲酯 、馬來酸二甲酯、馬來酸單丁酯、富馬酸單乙酯、富馬酸 -13- 201111397 二丁酯等之乙烯性不飽和聚羧酸酯類;丙烯酸、甲基丙烯 酸、巴豆酸等之乙烯性不飽和單羧酸類;衣康酸、馬來酸 、富馬酸等之乙烯性不飽和二羧酸類;甲基丙烯酸縮水甘 油酯等之含環氧基的單體類;甲基丙烯酸2-羥乙酯等之含 醇性羥基的單體類;丙烯酸甲氧基乙酯等之含烷氧基的單 體類;丙烯腈等之含腈基的單體類:丙烯醯胺等之含醯胺 基的單體類;甲基丙烯酸二甲基胺乙酯等之含胺基的單體 類;二乙烯苯、甲基丙烯酸烯丙酯等之於1分子中具有2個 以上的乙烯性不飽和基之單體,當中可選擇1種或2種以上 ,較佳爲乙酸乙烯酯、乙烯性不飽和單羧酸酯類、乙烯性 不飽和單羧酸類。 此時,(B)氯化乙烯單體及可與其共聚合之(C)含 乙烯性不飽和基的單體之比率,以質量比計爲50 : 50〜100 :〇,特佳爲70: 3 0〜100: 0。當氯化乙烯量過少時,可能 會有凝聚物產生之缺失。 上述乳化聚合,可採用一般所知的所有乳化聚合法。 可在最初即整體地添加單體及其他聚合助劑(例如烷基硫 酸酯鹽等之乳化劑、過硫酸銨等之聚合起始劑、硫醇等之 連鎖轉移劑、碳酸鈉等之pH調整劑、各種消泡劑及其他) ,或是連續地添加,或是在聚合中連續地或分批地添加其 一部分。 此外,在不損及本發明之效果的範圍內,亦可倂用非 離子系界面活性劑與陰離子系乳化劑。例如有聚氧乙烯院 基苯醚、聚氧乙烯烷醚、聚氧乙烯脂肪酸酯、山梨醇酐脂 -14- 201111397 肪酸酯、聚氧乙烯山梨醇酐脂肪酸酯、聚氧化伸 、聚氧乙烯衍生物、甘油脂肪酸酯、聚氧乙烯硬 、聚氧乙烯烷基胺、烷基烷醇醯胺、或乙炔醇、 及此等之環氧乙烷加成物等之界面活性劑。 上述乳化聚合中所用之聚合起始劑,可列舉 、過硫酸鉀等之過硫酸鹽,2,2’-二眯-2,2’-偶氮 酸鹽、偶氮雙異丁腈等之偶氮化合物,異丙苯基 、苯甲基過氧化氫、過氧化氫等之過氧化物,酒 此外,亦可一般所知的還原氧化系起始劑,例如 與亞硫酸氫鈉等。聚合起始劑的用量,相對於上 言通常爲0.1〜2.0質量%,較佳爲0.2〜1.0質量。/。。 進行上述乳化聚合之聚合溫度,通常爲40~ 佳爲50〜7〇°C。聚合時間可適當地設定,較佳爲1 。此聚合較佳係在氮氣等之非活性氣體的環境中 蒸發殘留份較佳爲10~50質量%,更佳爲20. 。當未達1 0質量%時,可能會產生凝聚物,當超 %時,可能會大量地產生凝聚物。 聚合結束後,在不損及本發明之水性油墨用 性能之範圍內,亦可添加可塑劑、無機或有機塡 黏劑等。 可獲得乳膠的平均粒徑爲10〜lOOOnm 20〜800nm,黏度爲5〜1800mPa. s者。 本發明之樹脂乳膠,可使用在種種用途中, 用在記錄用紙時,可發揮較佳的顯色性、耐水性 院基i完醒 化蓖麻油 乙炔二醇 過硫酸銨 丙烷二鹽 過氧化氫 石酸等。 過硫酸鉀 述單體而 8 0 °C ,較 0~1 5小時 進行。 ~40質量% 過5 0質量 黏合劑的 充劑、增 ,較佳爲 尤其當使 、耐濕性 -15- 201111397 、高光澤等,當使用在水性油墨時,可賦予較佳的耐水性 、耐濕性、色彩的觀看性、高光澤、較佳的耐醇性。 此時,當將本發明之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠使用在水性 油墨時,可將著色劑、水可溶性有機溶劑、各種添加劑、 水等調配於此氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠,並藉由一般所知的分 散機、混合機、捏合機等予以分散、混合而製造出。氯化 乙烯系樹脂乳膠在水性油墨中之含量,以固形份計爲2〜3 0 質量%,特佳爲5~20質量%。著色劑可使用染料、顏料等 ,在水性油墨中可含有3〜40質量%,特佳爲5〜30質量%。 水可溶性有機溶劑,可使用乙二醇單醚、二乙二醇單醚、 丙二醇單醚、乙二醇二甲醚、二乙二醇二甲醚、乙二醇、 二乙二醇、丙二醇、甘油、甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇、丁酮、 甲基溶纖劑、乙基溶纖劑、丙酮、乙酸乙酯、二丙酮醇等 ’在水性油墨中可含有0〜60質量%,特佳爲〇~50質量% » 水在水性油墨中可含有5~95質量%,特佳爲1〇〜90質量%。 添加劑可列舉出顏料分散劑、平坦劑、消泡劑等,此等添 加劑,在水性油墨中可以常用量來使用。 此外’當將本發明之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠使用在記錄 用紙時’可適當地使用在記錄用紙之吸收層的形成。可將 顏料、水可溶性有機溶劑、各種添加劑、水等調配於此氯 化乙烯系樹脂乳膠’並藉由一般所知的分散機、混合機、 捏合機等予以分散' 混合而製造出。此時,含有吸收層的 形成中所用之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠之吸收層形成用組成物 中’係含有2〜3 0質量%之氯化乙烯系樹脂乳膠的固形份, -16- 201111397 特佳爲5~20質量%。此外,顏料可調配非晶質合成二氧化 砂、砂酸銘、砂酸鎂、丨几降性碳酸耗、重碳酸銘、砂酸耗 、氫氧化鋁、沸石、燒結土、高嶺土、滑石、白碳等。此 等成分的調配量爲0〜30質量%,特佳爲〇〜20質量%。水可 溶性有機溶劑,可使用乙二醇單醚、二乙二醇單醚、丙二 醇單醚、乙二醇二甲醚、二乙二醇二甲醚、乙二醇、二乙 二醇、丙二醇、甘油、甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇、丁酮、甲基 溶纖劑、乙基溶纖劑、丙酮 '乙酸乙酯、二丙酮醇等,在 水性油墨中可含有0〜60質量%,特佳爲〇〜5〇質量%。水在 水性油墨中可含有5~98質量%,特佳爲1 〇〜90質量%。其他 添加劑可列舉出顏料分散劑、消泡劑、著色劑、抗氧化劑 、紫外線吸收劑、黏度調整劑、脫模劑等。 上述吸收層形成用組成物,可刷毛塗佈於市售的紙等 之支撐體,並藉由板片塗佈機、空氣刀塗佈機、淋幕式塗 佈機、繞線塗佈機、凹版塗佈機、輥塗佈機等之塗佈方式 ,以塗佈量成爲0.5〜25 g/m2 (乾燥聚合固形份),較佳爲 1〜10 g/m2之方式,塗佈並乾燥而製造出。 〔實施例〕 以下係顯示出製造例與實施例及比較例’來具體地說 明本發明,但本發明並不限定於下列實施例。下列例子中 ’份及%分別表示質量份、質量%。 〔實施例1〕
