Abstract
MK-7 tipi K2 vitaminin hazırlanmasına yönelik proses, "all trans" konfigürasyonuna sahip heksaprenil zincirinin "1+6" sentetik strateji takip edilerek menadiol monoprenil türevine bağlanması ile karakterize edilmektedir. Mevcut buluşa göre, R1'in C1-3 alkil grubunu temsil ettiği formül (II)'e sahip korunmuş monoprenil menadiolden in situ olarak oluşturulan a-sülfonil karbanyon, X'in halojen atomu, tercihen bromu temsil ettiği, hem Z' hem de Z""nin H'yi temsil ettiği veya Z' ve Z""nin birinin H'yi temsil ettiği ve diğerinin fenilsülfonil -SO2Ph grubunu temsil ettiği formül (VII)'nin heksaprenil halidi ile alkilleme reaksiyonunda reaksiyona sokulmaktadır. Formül (VII)'nin heksaprenil halidi, ara maddeler ayrıştırılarak veya ayrıştırılmadan, alkilleme reaksiyonunda iki triprenil biriminin bağlanması aracılığıyla elde edilmektedir.
