Abstract
Borik Asit Fabrikalarında kolemanit, uleksit ve tirikal cevherleri kullanılarak reaktörde asitle çözülen, filtrasyonu yapılıp, kristalizatör ünitesinde % 30-60 katı (borik asit kristalleri) ihtiva eden sulu karışımlar tiknere beslenir. Tiknerin üst akımı zayıf çözelti olarak çözme ünitesine geri gönderilirken, alt akımı %40-70 H3BO3 Kristalli olan sulu kanşımı susuzlandırmak ve SO4 değerini düşürmek amacıyla vakumlu maksimum 300 ppm'e, nem oranı da maksimum % 20'ye getirilmiş borik asit kristalleri elde edilir. Filtre çıkışından titreşimli besleme eleğine alınan nemli borik asit kristalleri, mikrodalga kurutucusu bant konveyörü üzerine optimum cm kalınlığında beslenir. Bant konveyör üzerinde nemli borik asit kristalleri; 1000 watt/adet magnetron gücü uygulanarak, 2 m/dk bant süratinde titreşim hareketine maruz bırakılmadan kurutulur. Üretim esnasında üründe oluşan kabuklaşmaları (kekleşme) önlemek ve kristallerin yüzey sıcaklıklarının homojen bir şekilde dağıtılmasının sağlanması için sabit ayaklı kanştıncılar, dağıtıcılar, merdaneli ufalayıcıdan yarariamlır. Kurutulan borik asit kristalleri son olarak merdaneli ve titreşimli elekten geçirilerek %98'i -1+0,063 mm boyutunda, maksimum 40 C sıcaklıkta, maksimum %0,03 nemde, 0,74-0,95 g/cm^ dökme yoğunluğunda, %99,99 saflıkta ve minimum % 56,25 B2O3 olacak şekilde H3BO3 kimyasal formüllüne sahip teknik borik asit üretilmesi sağlanır.
