Abstract

Tercihen büyük açık veya üzeri kapalı, üzeri yüzer cisimle örtülü, içinde ham petrol veya benzerleri gibi yanıcı sıvı ortamlar bulunan depolama tanklarında yangın tehlikesini azaltan ya da alevlerin çoğalmasını geciktiren bir tertibat önenlmektedir.Bunlar, içme sıvı konulmaya yarayan silindir şeklinde yuvarlak, sızıntı durumunda toplanma bölümü olarak görev yapan, belirli bir mesafede çevreleyenbir koruyucu duvar ile teçhiz edilmiş içi boş birtanktan oluşmaktadır. Bunun özelliği, tankın (1),gerekirse toplanma bölümünün (4), sarılmış çekme malzemeden (3) oluşan ve birbirine yanaşık olarak sıvının (5) yüzeyinde yüzerek duran yüzer cisimlere (2) sahip olmasıve burada örtücü cismin (2) iç tarafına yüzdürme maddesi olarak yapı köpüğü (6) konulmuş olmasıdır.
