Abstract

Genel olarak, bulus bir yaprak hastaligina karsi direnci yüksek bir transgenik asma veya asma bileseni seçme yöntemi ortaya koyar. Yöntem su asamalari içerir :(a) bir üzüm bitkisi hücresini, kabuk proteinli bir üzüm nepovirüsü nükleik asit molekülü ile veya bunun bitki hücresinde kendini gösteren fragmani ile dönüstürme; (b) bitki hücresinden bir transgenik asma veya asma bileseni üretme; ve (c) nükleik asit molekülü veya bunun fragmanini düsük seviyede gösteren ve düsük seviyenin transgenik asma veya asma bileseninin yaprak hastaligina karsi direncini yükselttigi bir transgenik asma veya asma bileseni seçme. Bulus ayrica bir asma nepovirüsü virüsünün bir "Geneva" izolatinin kabuk protein veya protein fragmani kodlayan bir izole nükleik asit molekülü ile de ilgilidir.
