Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"CAPACIDADE DE RESISTêNCIA AO NEPOVIRUS EM VIDEIRAS"<D>. Em geral, a presente invenção caracteriza um método para selecionar uma videira ou componente de videira transgênico, apresentando uma aumentada resistência contra a doença da folha em leque, dito método incluindo as etapas de: (a) transformar uma célula de planta de uva utilizando uma mólécula de ácido nucleíco de proteína de revestimento de nepovirus de uva ou fragmento da mesma, que é capaz de ser expressa na célula de planta; (b) regenerar uma videira ou um componente de videira transgênico a partir da célula de planta; e (c) selecionar uma videira ou um componente de videira transgênico que expresse, em um baixo nível, a molécula de ácido nucleíco ou fragmento da mesma, em que a expressão do baixo nível aumenta a resistência da videira ou componente de videira transgênico contra a doença da folha em leque. A invenção também refere-se a uma molécula de ácido nucleíco isolada, codificadora de uma proteína de revestimento ou fragmento da mesma, de um isolado de "Geneva" de um vírus de nepovirus de videira.
