Abstract
Bu bulus, yalitim için sikistirilabilir, polimerik köpük malzemelere iliskindir. Bu polimerik köpükler, nispeten yüksek bir su fazi/yag fazi oranina sahip olan ve çogunlukla ''HIPE''' ler olarak bilinen bazi yagli su emülsiyonlarinin polimerlestirilmesiyle hazirlanirlar. Polimerik köpük malzemeler, genellikle aralari baglantili açik hücrelerden olusan, hidrofobik, esnek veya yari esnek, noniyonik polimerik bir köpük yapisini içerirler. Köpük yapilari: (a) köpük hacmi basina en azindan yaklasik 0.01 m2 /cc' lik bir özgül yüzey alanina; (b) yaklasik 0.05 g/cc 'den az bir genlesmis yogunluga ; ve (c) genlesmis kalinligin, sikistirilmis kalinliga en azindan yaklasik 3:1'lik bir orana sahiptirler; buradaki köpük, baslangiçtaki genlesmis kalinligin %33' üne degin sikistirildiginda ve daha sonra yüzeyi üzerinde yapay bir kisitlama olmaksizin muhafaza edildiginde, çevre sicakliginda (22 C) 21 gün sonra %50'den fazla olmayan bir seviyede yeniden genlesecektir.
