Abstract
The invention relates to the building materials industry, mainly for the production of facade and facing ceramic tiles. The ceramic stock contains the following components. %: clay 15-45; sand 11-25; cullet 10-30; cyclone dust resulting from the drying of clay in the production of expanded clay at temperatures not higher than 300 ° C, 0-50. Glass breakage and clay are ground in a ball mill, after which all components of the mixture are sieved through a sieve and fed to a mixer, where, simultaneously with mixing, they are shut off with water in an amount of 7-8% by weight of the dry mixture. The finished mixture is fed into the hopper installed above the press, the tile is pressed. After pressing, the raw passes through a roller kiln drying and firing. Next, the shard is cooled on an open conveyor. After firing and cooling, the shard undergoes hot firing (glazing). Characteristic of ceramic tiles: mechanical strength of raw material 1.1-1.25 MPa; flexural strength 10.0-17.0 MPa; water absorption 5.4-8.9%; shrinkage 2.0-3.3%; firing temperature 950-1030 ° C. 1 tab.
