Abstract

Predkladaný vynález sa týka použitia zmesi aditív zahŕňajúcej metakaolín a bezvodý kremičitan sodný a/alebo bezvodý kremičitan draselný, pričom zložky zmesi sú v tesnom kontakte a zrná zmesi majú mikrónovú až submikrónovú veľkosť, na zadržiavanie rádionuklidov cézia, výhodne rádionuklidu 137Cs, v procese vitrifikácie kvapalných rádioaktívnych odpadov. Zmes aditív môže ďalej zahŕňať anorganické hydrofilné materiály a/alebo taviacu prísadu a môže byť vo forme homogénnej práškovej zmesi alebo suchého granulátu. Uvedená zmes aditív zadržiava rádionuklidy cézia v rámci celého teplotného rozsahu vitrifikácie.
