Abstract

The invention relates to a device provided with an internal combustion engine (1) with a supercharger (5) of the rotary screw compressor type as well as a compressed air plant fed by a compressed air tank (10). As supercharger a rotary screw compressor of a kind known as such is used, which through a special, from the ordinary outlet port (13) separated port (11) delivers a minor air flow of considerably higher pressure than that of the air flow delivered from the ordinary port (13) after the closing of that port (13), which special port (11) according to the invention is connected to the compressed air tank (10) by a pipe (20) and a one-way valve (18).
