Abstract

Date Aug. 24, 1995Device for charging a truck pneumatic system. The truck has a mechanical compressor (8) for supercharging combustion air to its internal combustion engine (1). The compressor is actuated in the lower half of the engine rpm range. Charging occurs when operating conditions so permit, with air from the charge air system, preferably from the pressure side of the mechanical compressor (8).
