Abstract
In a method for the subsequent insulation of a curve of a heat-insulated pipeline, a flexible hose is pushed over the end of one of the pipe sections which are to be connected, the inner pipes are welded to one another, and the hose is pushed over the connecting point until it rests on the enveloping pipes of both pipeline sections. The hose is held at a distance from the inner pipe by means of spacers which are seated on the inner pipe, and the space between the hose and the inner pipe is filled with foam.
