Abstract

In a heat-insulated pipeline, preferably for remote-heat transportation, consisting of two coaxial metallic corrugated pipes (1, 2) which are held in their coaxial arrangement by means of spacers (4) and are thermally insulated with respect to one another by suitable means, it is provided in order to increase the insulating property and the temperature of the material to be transported to more than 130 DEG C that the pipes (1, 2) be held by spacers (4) consisting of ceramic material and/or hard plastic, the annular space between the pipes (1, 2) be compartmentalised in a vacuum-tight manner at the pipe ends, that the annular space be evacuated to at least 10<-1> mbar, and that the inner pipe be wound around with strips (7) having a metal layer (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
