A table leg assembly (Fig. 1) comprises four T-shaped elements each made by welding or soldering a vertical tube (1) to a horizontal tube 2, and the horizontal tubes are connected by the screwed joint of Fig. 2. The elements may each have two horizontal tubes. The tubing is of square, round, or rectangular section. A glass plate table top may be provided.
