Abstract

يوفر الاختراع نظام دفع خاص بمركبة vehicular propulsion system، نظام وقود خاص بمركبة vehicular fuel system وطريقة تشغيل محرك احتراق داخلي internal combustion engine. يمكن أن تستقبل وحدة الفصل separation unit التي تشكل جزء من نظام الوقود بصورة انتقائية وتفصل على الأقل جزء من الوقود الداخلي onboard fuel والممتز القابل للتدفق flowable adsorbent لفصل الوقود إلى مكونات وقود معزز الأوكتان octane-enhanced fuel ووقد معزز السيتان cetane-enhanced fuel. يمكن استخدام وحدة تحكم controller لتحديد حالة تشغيل محددة لمحرك الاحتراق الداخلي بحيث يمكن إرسال الوقود الداخلي إلى واحدة أو أكثر من غرف الاحتراق combustion chambers داخل محرك الاحتراق الداخلي دون المرور أولاً من خلال وحدة الفصل أثناء حالة تشغيل واحدة، أو بدلاً لوحدة لفصل في حالات حيث يمكن أن يتطلب محرك الاحتراق الداخلي خليط غني بـ أوكتان أو غني بـ سيتان في حالة تشغيل أخرى. شكل1
