Abstract
FIELD: production of metal-oxide coatings by precipitation from solution. SUBSTANCE: method is accomplished by application of film-forming coating from a solution containing alkoxide of metal and other compounds with subsequent drying and thermal treatment in three variants. According to first variant the solution contains alkoxide of metal of general formula R-OM, where M-Ti, Zr, Sn, V, R-alkyl C-C,, acetic or propionic acid at molar ratio alkoxide: acid equal to 1:1, and ammonium chloride - 0.1 to 0.5 mass percent of the total mass of alkoxide. According to the second variant the solution contains alkoxide of metal indicated in the first variant, ammonium chloride of the same amount, and acetate or propionate of metal of groups I-VIII at molar ratio alkoxide: carboxylate equal to 1:1. According to the third variant the solution contains the same components as in the first variant and additionally chloride or nitrite of metal of groups I-VIII at molar ratio alkoxide:salt:acid equal to 1:1:2. Isopropyl alcohol n-butyl acetate, methyl ethylene glycol, tetrahydrofuran, ethylcellosolv, etc. are used as solvent. The solution is kept for a long time in contact with air, and for an unlimited long time - in a sealed closed container. Due to the increase of the time of solution "life", it becomes possible to obtain a qualitative uniform coating on large areas, for example, on a sheet having an area of 2.5x1.6 m. The temperature of thermal treatment makes up 200 to 350 C. EFFECT: improved method.
