Claims (1)

  1. Изобретение относится к способу и системе для превращения углеродсодержащего питания в атомарный углерод и для окисления атомарного углерода в диоксид углерода. Углеродсодержащее питание, например городские отходы, низкосортное жидкое топливо, органический и неорганический шлам, вводятся в ванну расплавленного металла. Ванна расплавленного металла содержит первую фазу расплавленного металла, в которой атомарный углерод достаточно растворим, и вторую фазу расплавленного металла, существенно не смешивающуюся с первой фазой расплавленного металла, и в которой растворимость атомарного углерода ниже, чем в первой фазе расплавленного металла. Углерод, присутствующий в углеродсодержащем питании, каталитически превращается в атомарный углерод. Атомарный углерод в первой фазе расплавленного металла окисляется в моноксид углерода, который направляют во вторую фазу расплавленного металла. Во второй фазе расплавленного металла происходит окисление моноксида углерода в диоксид углерода. Диоксид углерода выпускают в атмосферу. Другие атомарные свободные радикалы, образовавшиеся в ванне расплавленного металла, в существенной степени превращаются в оксиды и другие стабильные вещества.
