Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used in the treatment of patients in pediatric neurology.
In cerebral palsy, as a result of hypertonicity and muscle hypotrophy, contractures develop that deform the limbs and prevent the child from moving normally.
[1, 2, 3, 5, 6].Traditionally, to prevent contractures, correction of pathological postures is used with the help of orthopedic shoes, splints, collars, splints; botulinum therapy; as well as physical therapy, massage, physiotherapy [1, 2, 3, 5, 6].
The technical problem solved by this invention is aimed at stimulating brain neurons, which forms new efferent connections between the brain, muscles, tendons, joints and bones of the limbs in cerebral palsy.
This is achieved by activating the proprioreceptors of the limb by forming transcutaneous musculoskeletal channels throughout the thigh and lower leg on the lower limb, shoulder and forearm on the upper limb according to A.P. Sakharyuk [4], which stimulates brain neurons, forms new efferent connections, eliminates hypertonicity and muscle hypotrophy, preventing the development of contractures and limb deformities.
The method is carried out as follows. Under general anesthesia, skin incisions up to 0.5 cm long are performed on the upper or lower limb, outside the passage of the neurovascular bundle. Musculoskeletal canals are formed and long tubular bones are perforated with penetration into the medullary canal. Bone perforation is performed with an electric drill, the size of the burr holes varies from 1 mm to 5 mm, depending on the diameter of the tubular bone, the number of perforations is 16-20 and is determined by the long limb.
Example. In the clinic of the State Budgetary Health Institution of the Amur Region "Amur Regional Children's Clinical Hospital", a method for preventing the development of contractures and deformities of the limbs in cerebral palsy was performed on 20 patients, from 4 to 17 years old. The results were evaluated after 2 years. All patients prevented the development of contractures and deformities. The range of motion in the joints increased, a stable gait was formed, close to normal, fine motor skills improved, and the quality of life increased.
The technical result of using the invention lies in the fact that when the proprioreceptors of the limb are activated by the formation of percutaneous musculoskeletal channels throughout the thigh and lower leg on the lower limb, shoulder and forearm on the upper limb according to A.P. Sakharyuk [4], brain neurons are stimulated, which forms new efferent connections between the brain, muscles, tendons, joints and bones in children with cerebral palsy. and prevents the development of contractures and deformities of the limbs.
