Description

 The invention relates to medicine, namely to reflexology and pediatric orthopedics, and can be used for the conservative treatment of children with Perthes disease.

 Known methods for conservative treatment of Perthes disease, including medication, traditional physiotherapy and acupuncture.

 For the prototype of the present invention, a method of treating Perthes disease developed at the institute was selected, which includes a combination of unloading the lower limb, exercise therapy, medications prescribed individually according to the stage of the disease, hyperbaric oxygenation and classical acupuncture for 30 minutes, for a course of 10 procedures [Batalov O. A., Musikhina I.V., patent RU 2083197 dated 10.07.97].

 However, this method, including classical acupuncture, i.e. an invasive technique, nowadays, against the background of the wide spread of severe viral infections (various forms of hepatitis and AIDS), there is a certain danger for both patients and staff. The use of classical acupuncture during treatment in this way causes children to feel fear in connection with its soreness.

 The objective of the proposed technical solution is the leveling of side effects and complications of classical acupuncture, as well as improving the clinical and functional outcomes of treatment.

 This problem is solved due to the fact that in the complex of conservative therapy, the points of acupuncture channels, biophysical parameters of which go beyond the physiological "normal range" by an amount equal to or greater than the standard deviation, are affected by extremely high frequency electromagnetic radiation in noise mode with a range of working frequencies 53-78 GHz with an exposure of 15 minutes in total per session.

 The method is as follows.

 Against the background of conventional drug treatment and hyperbaric oxygenation, EHF puncture is included in the complex of rehabilitation measures. To determine the specific acupuncture channels, the function of which needs appropriate correction, for each particular patient, prior to EHF puncture, they conduct an electro-puncture reflexodiagnosis using the methods of Riodoraku or the standard vegetative test (CBT) of CITO. At the same time, at representative representative acupuncture channel (AK) aides, electro-skin conductivity (ECP) and skin temperature (CT) are examined, mathematical processing is performed and channels that go beyond the physiological normal range are determined. Only the points of those acupuncture channels whose biophysical parameters go beyond the corridor by an amount equal to or greater than the standard deviation are included in the prescription. Further, the irradiation procedures of acupuncture points are carried out sequentially (before or immediately after HBO therapy) using electromagnetic radiation of the millimeter range in noise mode with an operating frequency range of the Amphit apparatus 53-78 GHz to the points of acupuncture channels determined using preliminary reflex diagnostics, with exposure 15 minutes per session. The course of treatment is 10 procedures. In total, 25 people (22 boys) from 5 to 16 years old were treated with this method. Of these, 3 children underwent a second course of treatment.

 Clinical example. Patient K., 9 years old, was admitted to the department of rehabilitation treatment at the NNIIITO on April 6, 1999 due to Perthes disease on the left in the fragmentation stage (stage III). On radiograph upon admission: the head of the left thigh is flattened, fragmented. There was a restriction of movement in the left hip joint: abduction and internal rotation were painful, range of motion was limited. The symptom of Trendelenburg on the left is positive, there is hypotrophy of the muscles of the left thigh within 2 cm. The treatment was prescribed: bed rest with cuff extension for the left shin with a load of 2 kg, vit. B1, B6, 0.9 ml IM every other day, 15 injections, aloe extract 0.9 ml daily, 30 injections, xidiphon 2% solution, 1 teaspoon 3 times a day for 30 days, calcium sandoz, 1 table. 2 times a day for 30 days, Target T 1 t. 2 times a day. At the same time, traditional physiotherapy courses were conducted. HBO therapy sessions were carried out in the mode of 0.3 kg / cm2 for 30 minutes - 10 procedures, EHF-therapy in noise mode with an exposure of 15 minutes per session (total) - 10 procedures. According to the discharge from the hospital on May 31, 1999, there was no pain in the left hip joint, the range of movements in it was sufficient. On the radiograph after 6 months: the head of the left thigh is spherical, structural, there are signs of stage IV of the repair stage. Therefore, there is a significant shortening of the course of stage III disease of the fragmentation stage, which usually lasts 1.5-2 years. Before discharge from the hospital, the child is trained in walking with crutches and a metered load on his left leg.

 The developed method of conservative treatment treated 25 patients, all patients received good functional and anatomical results of treatment, while in no case were negative psycho-emotional reactions (feelings of fear, anxiety) due to the absence of pain.
