Abstract

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of ceramic masses, which can be used in production of stove tiles. Ceramic mass for manufacturing ceramic tiles includes, wt %: white burning clay 79.8-81.8; broken ceramics 0.5-1.0; tripoli 10.0-13.0; halite 0.5-1.0; zinc oxide 0.5-1.0; soda ash 0.2-0.3; zircon 4.5-6.0. Heat resistance of products constitutes 250°C. Components are dosed in required quantities, milled to powder-like state, ceramic mass with humidity 20-25% is prepared and ceramic tiles are moulded from it by plastic method. Products are dried to humidity not higher than 6% and annealed at temperature 1100-1130°C. Then, layer of glaze is applied on the surface of products and second annealing is carried out at temperature 930-1000°C.
EFFECT: increase of heat resistance of products, obtained from ceramic mass.
