Description

This invention relates to boxes for transporting goods, allowing the transport of goods in a box in which they can be displayed to the consumer, as well as providing easier access to goods in a box for him or her.

Many products are transported in crates open at the top. For example, there are many different forms of crates used in the manufacture of beverages for transporting beverage bottles or smaller packaging with beverage bottles (for example, the so-called “six-bottle packaging”) from the place of production to the place of sale. When trading, boxes are usually stacked in such a way as to provide access only from above and, therefore, access to products in a box located at the bottom of the stack becomes possible only when all the boxes above are removed. This is extremely inconvenient in terms of time and energy.

Therefore, it would be an advantage to make boxes that allow the transport of products and provide more efficient and easier access to them.

Thus, several implementations of the present invention include a floor or bottom and at least two pairs of respectively opposite side walls, where the first of the side walls is designed so that it allows you to remove the products in the box. To achieve this, the first side wall is vertically upward from the floor, at least partially only at a lower extraction height, less than the height of one or more other side walls. The extraction height is determined in such a way that a side opening is formed from the first side wall, having a size that allows access to the products or the possibility of removing products contained in the box through the side opening (hole). The box is bounded from above by a part of the first side wall oriented upward from the floor (which can also be a whole side wall) and having a lower extraction height in the vertical direction. This means that above this part of the first side wall there is no further reinforcing connection between adjacent side walls.

In other words, the first side wall is at least partially lower than the adjacent or several adjacent side walls, so that when stacking the drawers it is possible to access from the side, which facilitates access to products located in the lower boxes of the stack.

Thus, in some implementations, the height of the first side wall is such that certain products transported in the box cannot fall out of the box during transportation. In some implementations, the box is designed to transport bottles or pre-packaged bottles, so the first side wall is high enough to prevent individual bottles from falling out of the box. In some embodiments, the height is 1 to 10 cm. In some further embodiments, this height is from 2 to 5 cm, or usually more than 2 cm.

In some implementations, the first side wall has at the edges adjacent to adjacent side walls two parts of the side wall, each of which is located up to the height of the adjacent side walls, to increase the stability of the box.

In further implementations of the present invention, the box has four side walls, where, at least in the side walls adjacent to the first side wall, capture holes are arranged. The capture holes are formed by a section (region) oriented parallel to the floor (horizontally oriented), as well as a section oriented perpendicular to the floor (vertically oriented). In some implementations, a region oriented perpendicular to the floor is located in the direction of the first side wall. Additionally, in some implementations, the first part of the horizontally oriented hole, located mainly parallel to the floor, is connected to the vertically oriented part of the hole having a radius large enough to ensure the capture of the box also within the radius. Therefore, in these implementations of the present invention, the box can also be grasped within a radius of bend or in a vertically oriented portion of the hole and raised so that it tilts backward when gripping. This reduces the likelihood of cargo falling out during transport, such as bottles falling from the crate through the openings of the first side wall.

Further, according to some implementations of the invention, the box includes on the floor adjacent to the first side wall, a large supporting surface for products to be transported, compared with the middle, located on another floor. In other words, when the floor is not fully formed (not solid) in order to facilitate the design, but consists, for example, of individual ribs, the number of ribs in the section, i.e. the density of the ribs, increases in the section adjacent to the first side wall. This leads to the fact that goods placed in a box close to the side wall, for example, beverage bottles having a large bearing surface, are in contact with the floor. This prevents the bottles or beverage cans from slipping or tipping into the indentations between the floor ribs to prevent the cans or bottles from accidentally falling out during transport.

Further, in some implementations, the side walls adjacent to the first side wall have in front, where they border the first side wall, a height less than that in the front of the opposite side wall. This means that in the direction of the hole, the side walls containing the hole are made lower so that, on the one hand, the space intended for cargo extraction increases and, on the other hand, the incidence of light or the viewing angle inside the box increases to facilitate inspection goods such as bottles and the like transported in a box.

In some further embodiments, other side walls not in contact with the first side wall are foldable relative to the floor so that the box can be folded where the other side walls are placed approximately parallel to the floor or are positioned above the floor. Thus, the box can be transported empty more cost-effectively and efficiently.

In several implementations, there is an additional movable part of the side wall oriented in a vertical direction above the first side wall, which can either be removed or folded. The advantage of this is the fact that when deployed, the movable part of the side wall further increases stability or ensures that goods or products do not fall out of the box. Further, in the expanded state, the movable part of the side wall can be used to present product information.

In some implementations, the movable part of the side wall is made in the form of a grating or is formed of many strips so that the drawer can be cleaned under high pressure without separating the movable part of the side wall from the drawer or without fear of unintentional separation from the drawer under high pressure.

Further, in some implementations, other side walls are coated or laminated from the inside with a foil containing product information that is clearly visible from the outside.

In some further embodiments, light colored foil is used so that goods or bottles transported in a box are better perceived optically due to light reflection.

In some further implementations, the other three side walls that do not correspond to the lower wall (none of which is the first side wall) have the same height so that the boxes can be stacked on top of each other, where the floor of one box rests on the other three side walls the box below. For this purpose, special recesses or contours are made in the floor and on the upper edges of the other side walls, with which the corresponding recesses or contours of the floor or other side walls come into contact to enable stacking and guarantee stability.

In some embodiments of the drawers of the invention used to store, transport, and display bottles or cans of beverages, the floor includes a plurality of pins or mandrels that are vertically oriented upward from the floor. Mandrels - three-dimensional objects located on the floor and having such a shape that the bottles are held or insured by the external bounding parts of the mandrels, effectively preventing the bottles from falling out. In some implementations, the mandrels have a small height in the vertical direction, so that they can also be considered as shortened pins. The height and external shape of some mandrels are selected so that they prevent, together with the first side wall, the bottles from falling out of the side opening. In order to guarantee the possibility of extraction, in some implementations, the mandrels, in the highest position, are made no higher than the first side wall. In some implementations, the outer bounding portions of the mandrels are of variable height in order to best adapt them to existing tasks. To allow the bottles to tilt in the direction of the first side wall and to guarantee good stability, the mandrels have a lower height in the direction parallel to the side wall than in the direction of the first side wall to provide a tilt parallel to the first side wall, while the tilt in the perpendicular direction is blocked, and the bottles are firmly fixed.

Figure 1 shows the implementation of the box 10 for bottles of drinks. In the embodiment shown, floor 12 is not formed continuously in the plane, but is a structure similar to a lattice. As shown in the bottom view of the box (FIG. 3), floor 12 is formed by a plurality of stripes or ribs. They are located close enough so that the goods that will be transported, such as bottles, cannot fall through the floor of the box or bend uncontrollably when the edge of the bottle falls into one of the spaces between the strips.

In addition, the box includes two pairs of respectively opposite side walls 14a, 14b and 16a, 16b located upward from the floor 12, that is, in the vertical direction 18. The first of the four side walls, in this example, the side wall 16b, is placed at a lower height extract 20 in the vertical direction 18.

The extraction height 20 is lower than the height of the other side walls 14a, 14b and 16a so that a side opening is formed allowing access or removal of bottles or products contained and transported in the box through the side opening. Above the first side wall 16b there are no longer any parts of the drawer structure. Further, on the floor 12 of the implementation shown in FIG. 1, there are a plurality of mandrels, examples of which are mandrel 22a and mandrel 22b. This means that the side opening for product extraction is formed as a result of the fact that the first side wall 16b has a lower height than adjacent or other side walls. Here, as in the following drawings, the height implies a measurement in the positive vertical direction 18. The term “top” refers to the position in the positive vertical direction 18, the term “bottom” refers to the position having a lower coordinate in the vertical direction 18. The sides (sides ) - any directions that limit the box in directions parallel to the floor surface 12.

The first side wall 16b forms or forms a side opening allowing access or removal of bottles transported in the box. In other implementations, of course, other products may be transported in a box. In the box (figure 1) can also be transported the so-called "packaging of six bottles", that is, six bottles, pre-packed in bags.

In alternative embodiments not shown in FIG., The side walls do not have an extraction height 20 along its full length, and the fixed parts of the side wall are located from adjacent side walls 14a and 14b towards the side opening, while it remains large enough to allow extraction products. Such boxes may have increased stability.

The implementation of the box 10, shown in figure 1, in addition includes a movable part of the side wall 23, made with the possibility of free rotation relative to the stationary first side wall 16b on the hinges 24A-24C. The movable part of the side wall 23 is shown in the folded position in FIG. 1, where it is folded down relative to the first side wall 16b. In the unfolded position, which will be described later, based on several other implementations, the movable part of the side wall 23 is located upward in the vertical direction 18. Thus, the security can be further enhanced so that the bottles in the box 10 are not able to tilt out. Additionally, the movable part can be used to present product information.

Each side wall 14a and 14b adjacent to the first side wall includes gripping holes 28a and 28b, whereby the box can be lifted and carried. Thus, the gripping hole includes a first part of the hole oriented parallel to the floor and a second part of the hole oriented mainly in the vertical direction, the function of which will be discussed in more detail below with reference to FIG. 3.

In addition, the side walls 14a and 14b adjacent to the first side wall 16b include, near the end at the first side wall, sections with a beveled edge 30a and 30b through which light can enter the drawers even when they are stacked on top of each other. Thus, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, portions of the side walls 14a and 14b adjacent to the first side wall 16b have a lower height than at the opposite end of the side walls. Obviously, although in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the recessed portion of the side wall is substantially triangular, any other form of recess may also be used for alternative embodiments. In some embodiments, the height of the side walls 14a and 14b adjacent to the first side wall 16b is continuously increased to a maximum height. In alternative embodiments, the increase in height may, of course, also occur discretely.

The box shown in FIG. 1 can be stacked, that is, the contours of the upper ends of the side walls 14a, 14b and 16a are designed so that they fit into the contour or floor structure of another box when stacking (see, for example, FIG. 3), so that the boxes can be mounted on top of each other. However, the side opening created by the first side wall 16b allows you to remove bottles or bottle packs, such as “six-bottle packs”, from the box, even when it is stacked.

In some embodiments of the invention, portions of the side walls 14a, 14b, and 16a facing inward are light colored so that light penetrating through openings 30a and 30b makes the bottles in the box more visible to an insider. In alternative implementations, these parts are covered with product information or advertisements.

The implementation of the invention shown in figure 1, further includes at least one of the side walls (in the case shown here, the side wall 14b) a lot of guides 32a-32d, placed in the vertical direction and protruding above the side part inward, which prevent the bottles in the box and held by mandrels from touching the side wall and its extensive contamination. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, each of the guides 32a-32d is positioned so that the bottles abut against the outer wall with their radius farthest from the center at the positions of the strips 32a-32d. Thus, contamination of large areas of the inner surfaces of the side walls can be avoided, and this is an argument in favor of the strips.

Figure 2 shows the implementation of the box 10, shown in figure 1, in a state filled with three packages of six bottles.

Each “six-bottle package” 40a, 40b, and 40c includes six separate bottles, which are not illustrated here.

Also, in addition to mandrels bottom in contact with bags of six bottles that are open at the base for this purpose, bags of six bottles are held by guides 40a and 40b, which are located on the bottom 12 of box 10, as shown in FIG.

Figure 3 shows two drawers 10 and 10a, stacked in a stack, while products or bottles can also be removed from the box 10, located at the bottom of the stack. This, of course, also applies to packages of six bottles 40a, 40b and 40c when transported or displayed in crates as an alternative to individual bottles. As becomes apparent from FIGS. 2 and 3, the particular implementation of the box shown in FIG. 1 has high transformability with respect to the bottles to be transported, since, on the one hand, packages of six bottles and, on the other hand, individual bottles can be transported In the box. This is due to the arrangement of the mandrels 22a and 22b, as well as the guides 42a and 42b, illustrated in FIG.

Obviously, in other implementations of the box 10, a different arrangement of mandrels can be selected. For example, in some implementations, the guides may be completely lowered, and instead only mandrels may be used. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, both are possible, since each individual bottle inserted into one of the spaces between the mandrels and / or the guides is in each case supported from four directions or by the side wall of the guide, or the mandrel or one of the side walls 14a, 14b, 16a or 16b of the box so that the bottle is held steady during transport.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, in view of the possibility of stacking the drawers and the choice of lateral extraction provided by the construction of the first side wall 16b, it is possible to offer various products for sale in stacked drawers. Here, the side wall 16b, together with the mandrels, prevents the bottles from tilting out from the box 10 during transportation, so the side wall 16b is sized to prevent the bottles from tilting out of the box during transportation. At the same time, it remains low enough that the bottles can be pulled out of the box on the front side, even if the next box 10a is on the box 10. For this purpose, according to some embodiments, the bottles can first be raised slightly and then tilted to front side. This is used in some implementations when performing specific mandrels, as will be described in more detail below with reference to FIG.

Figure 3 clearly shows further characteristic features of some implementations of the present invention, namely the specific design of the gripping holes 28a and 28b. The capture hole is curved, located in the horizontal and vertical directions. In other words, the gripping hole 28a includes a first part of the hole 50a oriented parallel to the floor 12, and a second part of the hole 50b oriented mainly in the vertical direction 18. Here, the boundary between the vertical and horizontal parts of the hole in FIG. 3 is meant only as an example . Thus, the capture hole 28a is also located with significant expansion in the vertical direction, so that the capture hole 28a can also be used by people in the vertical part of the hole. In alternative embodiments of the invention, the gripping hole 28a may, of course, also be formed differently than in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3. For example, it may have a square or rectangular cross section so that the box can be raised both from above by the horizontal part of the hole 50a and from the side by the vertical part of the hole 50b.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the vertical part of the hole is on the side allocated to the first side wall 16b and is connected to the horizontal part of the hole 50a in the external circuit (i.e., in the circuit determining the direction of the first side wall) with a large radius. As a result of this, when lifting the drawer, it can also be gripped in a radius so that the drawer, when the vertical part of the hole is on the side allocated for the first side wall 16b, tilts backward (in the direction of the side walls 16a), to provide an additional guarantee against falling out individual bottles by tilting the box when carrying it.

In some embodiments of the invention, illustrated based on FIG. 4, which shows a perspective view from the base to the drawer of FIG. 1, and based on FIG. 11, which shows a bottom view of a further embodiment of the invention, as a special design of floor 12 in section 50, adjacent to the first side wall 16b, further increases reliability.

In some implementations of the invention, the floor 12 is not formed on the entire plot, but is made by placing ribs to reduce weight and facilitate cleaning. They cover part of the floor 12 in such a way that the bottom of the individual bottles reliably rests on the floor 12. In the front edge portion 50, that is, in the portion 50 adjacent to the first side wall 16 b, the number or density of the ribs is increased compared to the rest so that the bottles placed there could not by themselves tilt outward, even if they were slightly deflected in the direction of the first side wall 16b as a result of external influence, from their position at rest. This can be avoided by placing the ribs on the portion 50 adjacent to the first side wall 16b so close that the edge of the bottle cannot tip over between the two adjacent ribs. In other words, in the portion 50 adjacent to the first side wall 16b, floor 20 includes a bottle bearing surface that is larger than the bearing surface, typically per unit floor area, to ensure reliable retention of the bottles.

As can be further seen in Fig. 4, floor 12 includes, in a section adjacent to the side walls 14a, 14b and 16a, raising several ribs whose profile is designed so that when it is installed on another box, the inner part of the side walls is in contact with the side contour the walls of the next drawer to ensure stackability and a stable stacking position.

Further, the drawer floor in the central part includes a rib 52 located from the side wall 16a to the first side wall 16b and whose guides have greater vertical expansion than other floor guides. This rib 52 serves to further support the first lower side wall 16b to increase the stability of the drawer. The rib 52 is located in the center so that its part, located lower than the rest of the floor, does not make it difficult to remove the bottles from the box located at the bottom of the stack.

Figure 5 shows a further implementation of the present invention, significantly different from the previously discussed embodiments based on the previous drawings, in that bottles of other sizes can be transported using the implementation shown in figure 5. While the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is adapted for 0.5 liter bottles, the box implementation shown in FIG. 5 is adapted for 0.33 liter bottles. Thus, the implementation of FIG. 5 differs significantly in the arrangement of the mandrels from the implementation of FIG. 1, as well as the thickness of the side walls 14a, 14b and 16b, which has been modified to hold the bottles placed in the box with the same external volume of the box. Thus, for example, the box shown in FIG. 5 includes five mandrels 54a, 54b, 54c, 54d and 54e that are adjacent to the first side wall 16b to hold a total of six bottles with a capacity of 0.33 L in the front row. Further, the box of FIG. 5 includes only one continuous guide 56 in the center of the box, so that alternatively four packages of six bottles can be transported in the box.

Further, the implementation of the drawer of FIG. 5, in contrast to the implementations of FIGS. 1-4, is a drawer with a movable part of the side wall 23 folded upward to the first side wall 16b. Since, otherwise, the design features of the drawer of FIG. 5 correspond to the design features of the drawer of FIG. 1, and each of them has identical functionality, therefore, a discussion of the components may be omitted. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the box shown in FIG. 5, like the box shown in FIG. 1, includes at least one hole in the side wall 16a located opposite the first side wall 16b and placed on the side wall 16a so that the box could be mounted or hung on a wall, on a shelf, or somewhere else with this hole.

To increase the reliability of the installation, each implementation shown in figures 1 and 5 includes an additional optional second mounting hole 60.

The implementation of the box shown in Fig.6, is also intended for the transport of 24 bottles with a capacity of 0.33 l each and largely corresponds to the implementation shown in Fig.5. However, in the embodiment of FIG. 5, the side walls 14a, 14b and 16a, or at least part of the side walls 14a, 14b and 16a, are foldable by hinges relative to the floor. Therefore, they are folded in such a way that they can be folded in the direction of the floor and placed mainly parallel to the floor in the folded position, as shown in Fig. 7 for the side wall 16a, which is parallel to the surface of the floor 12 in the folded state. Fig. 8 shows all the side walls 14a, 14b and 16a in the folded position, which makes it easy to transport the box in the folded position back to the brewery or soft drinks factory without taking up much space, which can significantly reduce the cost of transportation.

Although, according to FIGS. 6-8, the collapsible side walls 14a, 14b and 16a are shown only for a box that is used to transport 24 bottles with a capacity of 0.33 L each, it is obvious that also the box shown in FIG. 1 for 0.5 L bottles can be provided with folding side walls. In general, they are suitable for all the embodiments illustrated herein, since the features described or shown with reference to individual embodiments can be combined with each other in any way to provide alternative further embodiments of the claimed invention.

Fig.9 illustrates the implementation of Fig.5 in the filled state, in which there are 24 bottles in the box.

In addition, as in FIG. 5, the movable part of the side wall 23 is in the unfolded position in order to further protect the bottles of the front row itself or in order to affix a mark on the external movable part 23, which is not important for the display of goods.

Figure 10 illustrates the implementation of figure 5 with an alternative form of loading, namely four "packages of six bottles" 70A, 70b, 70C and 70d.

Finally, FIG. 11 illustrates a top view of the implementation of FIG. 5, where it becomes apparent that the mandrel 54c has a different geometric shape than the mandrel 54a, 54b, and 54d or 54e to enable the installation of six-bottle packages. In alternative implementations, however, the central mandrel 54c may naturally have the same shape as other mandrels, such as, for example, mandrel 54a. Similarly, any other mandrels may be in the form of mandrel 54c.

As can be understood from the view shown in Fig. 11, for a box intended for 24 bottles for drinks, the floor 12 in the section 50 adjacent to the first side wall 16 is also designed with a larger bearing surface than the usual bearing surface of the entire floor, so that Avoid tipping the bottles out of the box.

The outer bounding portion 70 has a variable height, as already described above. Thus, the mandrel has a lower height on the first part of the side surface 75 extending parallel to the first side wall 16b and protecting the bottle from the rear (in a direction 72 oriented from the first side wall 16b), in contrast to the second part of the side surface 76 protecting the bottle from tilting in a direction 74 parallel to the first side wall 16b.

For the mandrel 54a shown in FIG. 12, which has a substantially diamond-shaped cross-section, one top of which indicates the direction of the first side wall 16b, the anti-tilt function is provided by the first part of the bounding surface 75, which limits the mandrel mainly in a direction parallel to the first side wall 16b. The second part of the bounding surface 76 bounding the mandrel 54b in the direction of the first side wall 16b prevents the bottle from tilting parallel to the first side wall 16b.

The first part of the side surface 75 is lower than the second part of the side surface 76 to allow the bottles to be tilted forward without having to lift the bottles so that they can fall into the floor of the box mounted on top of the box in question.

However, the second part of the bounding surface 76 prevents tilting in a direction parallel to the first side wall 16b, and may therefore be higher to increase stability. In general, the mandrels 54a and 54b and the mandrel 54c provide maximum stability while providing forward inclination, where the mandrels have a lower height in the direction parallel to the side wall than in the direction perpendicular to the side wall.

Further, the mandrels of FIG. 12 are provided with external parts of an incomplete restriction that are curved inward (have a concave appearance) between vertices of a generally diamond-shaped shape, where the radius of the curve mainly corresponds to the cross section of the bottle in order to more reliably hold the bottle.

Although the above discussion has mainly concerned beverage bottle crates, further embodiments of the present invention are of course also suitable for other types of products. For example, cans of drinks, as well as any other cylindrical goods, such as spray cans of hair sprays, deodorant sprays, etc., can be transported in the claimed boxes. In addition, boxes with a side opening are also suitable for completely different types of products, which may have a non-main cylindrical shape. Boxes are universally suitable for use with all kinds of products, as they allow you to take products from the side of the boxes stacked in a stack. This advantage is not limited to the type of goods transported.

Claims (19)

1.
