600063 The invention relates to a box comprising a bottom and at least two pairs of opposite lateral walls (14a, 14b, 16a, 16b). A first of the lateral walls (16b) extends upward from the bottom (12) only by a removal height (20) which is less than the height of one or more of the other lateral walls (14a, 14b, 16a). The first wall defines a lateral opening that enables access to and removal of products contained in the box (10). A plurality of raised mandrels (54a-e) is arranged on the bottom for holding bottles where the height of the mandrels (54) is variable about the circumference (see Fig. 12) to allow the bottles to be securely held but also easily removable from the box.
