Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to the treatment of internal non-communicable animal diseases, and can be used to treat hepatosis complicated by heart pathology.
A known method of treating hepatosis, including taking a complex vitamin preparation endovit in a daily dose of 60 mg / kg body weight of an animal 1-2 times a day before clinical recovery (“Temporary instruction on the use of endovitis for the prevention and treatment of hepatosis and hypovitaminosis in pigs.” Approved Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Veterinary Medicine on March 22, 1990).
The use of endovitis in the known method is due to its pronounced hepatotropic effect and is used as a hepatoprotector.
However, the long course of hepatosis in the animal is complicated by myocardial dystrophy with impaired coronary circulation, a decrease in the electrical activity of the heart and the function of the conduction system. The known method of treatment is aimed only at improving the functional state of the liver with hepatosis without taking into account the complications of heart disease. Appointment additionally in the course of treatment of cardiological agents leads to an increase in the pharmacological load on the animal and an increase in the cost of treatment.
The objective of the invention is the development of a method for the treatment of hepatosis complicated by myocardial dystrophy in dogs, excluding the additional use of cardioprotectors.
The technical result from the use of the invention is the normalization of trophic heart muscle, stopping dystrophic processes in it and improving the functional state of the cardiac conduction system, as well as reducing the cost of treatment.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of treating hepatosis complicated by myocardial dystrophy in dogs, which includes taking the complex drug endovit inside once a day, they take endovitis according to the scheme - the first 5 days 30 mg / kg, the next 10 days - 25 mg / kg and the last 5 days - 20 mg / kg of body weight.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the pharmacological properties of the drug endovit, determined by the combination of its components: vitamin A, E, C, B 1 , B 2 , U, dipromonium, lipamide, are used not only to improve the condition of the liver, but also to improve functional state of the heart. The method of treatment was tested in the treatment of 20 dogs of the German Shepherd breed with clinical signs of hepatosis complicated by myocardial dystrophy belonging to the Center for Dog Training at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Voronezh Region.
Animals were divided into two groups. The first group (n = 10) received endovitis according to the manual - 20 mg / kg body weight orally (during feeding) 1 time per day until clinical recovery. Dogs of the second group (n = 10) received endovitis orally (during feeding) for 20 days once a day according to the scheme: the first 5 days 30 mg / kg, the next 10 days 25 mg / kg and the last 5 days 20 mg / kg body weight.
In animals of both groups, an improvement in the liver condition was noted (confirmed by clinical and laboratory studies), however, in the first experimental group on days 25-30, and in the second on day 20. In dogs from the second group, an additional effect was obtained - an improvement in the functional state of the heart, recorded on an ECG. The data are presented in the table.

ST segment
The table shows that in dogs of the 2nd group, the treatment of which was carried out according to the claimed method, the myocardial electrical activity increased (the amplitude of the teeth increased), this was reflected in the systolic indicator - it reached the physiological norm, the coronary circulation improved (the ST segment aligned with respect to the isopotential line), recovered function of the conduction system of the heart (sinoatrial blockade was not recorded, but respiratory arrhythmia, characteristic of the norm for dogs) appeared.
Thus, the use of endovitis according to the above scheme allows you to effectively treat both the underlying disease - hepatosis, and concomitant - myocardial dystrophy without the use of additional cardiological agents. As a result, the pharmacological load on the animal is reduced (this is especially important for hepatosis-affected liver) and the cost of treatment.
