Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine and can be used to treat hepatosis in arctic foxes, including during pregnancy.
The main direction of development of fur farming today is to increase the reproductive ability and fecundity of animals. In foxes bred in captivity, hepatoses caused by metabolic disorders are often recorded. A particularly pronounced clinical manifestation of this disease is noted during periods of higher physiological stress - gon, pregnancy, growth, development. At the same time, animals often exhibit metabolic disorders associated with liver pathology, leading to embryonic loss and low safety of the newborn young.
(1, 3).Known methods of treating hepatosis with the use of vitamins, amino acids, vitamin-containing preparations - A, column B, E, U, calcium pangamate, methionine, lipovit, metavit, sodium selenite, etc. (1, 3).
(4).There is also a known method for the treatment of hepatosis using hepatotropic and complex preparations based on them (dipromonium, endovit, diproanemine), which are fed for a rather long time (2 weeks before rut, 1 week after rut, 2 weeks before and 1 week after delivery) (4) .
However, the known methods of treatment in the conditions of industrial animal husbandry are not able to provide sufficiently effective protection and reduce the negative role of stress factors due to selective specialization of activity, since they act only on one link in the pathogenesis of hepatosis in Arctic fox
The closest analogue (prototype) is a method for the treatment and prevention of hepatosis in female minks with the homeopathic medicine Liarsin® (5). We studied the dynamics of morphological and functional blood parameters in standard mink females with clinical signs of hepatosis under the influence of Liarsin at a dose of 0.5 ml during the first half of pregnancy in young (1 year) and adult (2 years) animals. The drug was administered to animals of the experimental groups twice with an interval of 7 days intramuscularly at a dose of 0.5 ml.
But when using this method, Arctic foxes need to improve the administration scheme of Liarsin® taking into account the physiological constants of this type of animals - weight and body size, terms of driving and pregnancy, fertility, hematological and biochemical status.
The proposed invention is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the treatment of hepatosis in arctic foxes, as well as at reducing economic costs.
The presented task is achieved by the fact that in the method for the treatment of hepatosis of female Arctic foxes, including treatment with the homeopathic preparation Liarsin®, according to the invention, the drug Liarsin® is used at a dose of 0.7 ml per head intramuscularly twice with an interval of 3 days in the first trimester of pregnancy to animals with hepatosis.
The composition of the drug Liarsin® includes three polychrists, each of which is widely used in homeopathic practice: Lycopodium (D30), Arsenicum album (D8), Phosphorus (D12) (2). Indications for use of the individual components of the formulation are:
Lycopodium - функциональные и дистрофическо-дегенеративные заболевания печени, печеночных и желчных протоков в сочетании с потерей аппетита, расстройством пищеварения, нарушения белкового обмена веществ, хронические заболевания кожи;Lycopodium - functional and dystrophic-degenerative diseases of the liver, liver and bile ducts in combination with loss of appetite, indigestion, protein metabolism disorders, chronic skin diseases;
Arsenicum album - гастроэнтериты, заболевания почек с альбуминурией и гемоглобинурией, воспалительные процессы любого генеза и локализации, хронические заболевания кожи;Arsenicum album - gastroenteritis, kidney disease with albuminuria and hemoglobinuria, inflammatory processes of any origin and localization, chronic skin diseases;
Phosphorus - fatty degeneration of the liver, kidneys, pancreatitis, gastritis, gastroenteritis, drainage agent of the parenchyma of the liver, kidneys, lungs, heart: slowing the healing process.
Therefore, Liarsin® acts as a tool that normalizes metabolism, enhances the detoxification functions of enzyme systems, improves drainage processes, and activates non-specific immunity.
The method is as follows.
During pregnancy, female foxes were injected with the homeopathic preparation Liarsin® at a dose of 0.7 ml per head intramuscularly twice with an interval of 3 days. The drug was administered to females with clinical signs of hepatosis as a therapeutic agent.
The combined action mechanism of the claimed homeopathic remedy is based on its biological role. Liarsin®, as a homeopathic preparation, directs the complex of natural components to self-regulation processes, stimulating the body to heal itself, which leads not only to a pronounced therapeutic effect, but is also an effective means of prevention. Liarsin® has a hepatotropic effect, provides specific and nonspecific stimulation of the body's own defenses, regulates redox processes in the body, and stimulates the production of phagocytes and lymphocytes.
The effectiveness of the treatment and prevention of hepatosis of arctic foxes with the homeopathic medicine Liarsin® was determined in the conditions of ZAO Sudilavl of the Kostroma region of the Russian Federation. The study involved females of silver and veil arctic fox during pregnancy and the postpartum period of age 1-5 years. The animals were kept in the same feeding and keeping conditions, were subjected to the same planned veterinary treatments.
The essence of the method is illustrated by examples.
Example 1. To justify the therapeutic effectiveness of the claimed and known methods of therapy and prevention of hepatosis of Arctic foxes, 56 animals were used. For the experiment, 2 groups of animals were formed:
In the 1st group of clinically sick females (experimental, 16 goals), Liarsin® was used at a dose of 0.7 ml per head intramuscularly twice with an interval of 3 days in the first trimester of pregnancy.
In contrast to the proposed method, in the 2nd group of clinically sick females (control, 14 goals), a known method was used for the treatment of hepatosis - the farm scheme (1): thiamine chloride and pyridoxine chloride were injected intramuscularly with 0.5 ml every other day for 10 days , trivitamin 1.0 ml once a day three times with an interval of 3 days.
To study morphological and biochemical parameters, blood was taken from 6 animals from each group before the use of the drug and after childbirth.

Hematological parameters of female foxes in the treatment of hepatosis
Biochemical blood parameters of female foxes in the treatment of hepatosis
The main criteria for the reliability of the therapeutic effect of the homeopathic drug Liarsin® in the declared doses were hematological and biochemical blood tests of clinically ill hepatosis of female foxes conducted at the end of the experiment.
The analysis of tables 1-2 showed that the use of female arctic foxes with the therapeutic purpose of the homeopathic preparation Liarsin® at a dose of 0.7 ml / head twice with an interval of 3 days led to the normalization of some blood parameters. So, the multidirectional dynamics of the content of red blood cells and hemoglobin in the blood is noteworthy with different methods of treatment. When applying Liarsin® in the experimental group, hemoglobin levels were higher by 14.46% (P <0.05) and red blood cells by 18.73% than with the allopathic method of treatment. That is, there is a tendency to normalize hematopoiesis.
The use of Liarsin® for pediatric female Arctic foxes for therapeutic purposes helped to relieve hepatosuppressive (lower total bilirubin) and cytolytic (AcAt, AlAt) syndromes, gradually restore secretory (total protein) and excretory (total bilirubin) liver function, enhance metabolic processes (increase glucose and decrease cholesterol, urea).
2.Example 2
Эффективность заявленного и известного способов лечения гепатоза оценивали по показателям плодовитости и выхода щенков на благополучно ощенившуюся самку, то есть по влиянию рассматриваемых способов на воспроизводительную функцию самок песцов и сохранность молодняка (табл.3).The effectiveness of the claimed and known methods for the treatment of hepatosis was evaluated by the indicators of fertility and puppies' yield on a happily chickened female, that is, by the influence of the considered methods on the reproductive function of female Arctic foxes and the safety of young animals (Table 3).

The use of the homeopathic preparation Liarsin® for female foxes during pregnancy has shown better results than the known treatment method. The females of the experimental group had fewer stillborn puppies, the pre-registration departure of the young was lower, and the puppies' exit to a happily nestling female in the claimed method exceeded that in the control group by an average of 1.35-1.75 times. In the experimental group, the resulting economic efficiency per ruble of costs resulting from the use of Liarsin® is higher compared to the control in the treatment of sick animals - 19.60 rubles. against 0.21 rubles
The novelty of the claimed method lies in the use of the homeopathic preparation Liarsin® for the treatment of hepatosis in female foxes at a dose of 0.7 ml per head intramuscularly twice with an interval of 3 days in the first trimester of pregnancy.
The unknown of the proposed scheme, which allows to reduce the economic damage from not receiving the offspring (fewer stillborn and dead puppies before registration), does not cause side effects, helps normalize blood counts, indicates that the claimed technical solution meets the criterion of "inventive step".
Studies conducted in scientific experience have confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
Thus, the use of the homeopathic drug Liarsin® for female foxes during pregnancy for therapeutic purposes in hepatosis had a positive regulatory effect on most hematological and biochemical blood parameters and metabolism, and also contributed to the safety of the resulting offspring.
