Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of inorganic chemistry, in particular to a technology for producing fluorides of alkaline earth elements and lead used in laser technology, the production of hydrogen fluoride.
A known method of producing calcium fluoride, including heat treatment of a mixture of sodium fluoride and calcium chloride at a temperature of 700-800 o C in a reactor of carbon coated with hydrogen fluoride, as well as subsequent processing of the alloy with water and drying of calcium fluoride with ethanol [1] However, the disadvantage of this method is the high process temperature and the use of hydrogen fluoride.
Известен способ получения фторида кальция путем термической обработки смеси фторида натрия и хлорида кальция при 600-750oC в присутствии плавиковой кислоты [2] Однако в этом способе применяют высокую температуру синтеза в течение длительного времени синтеза (60 мин).A known method of producing calcium fluoride by heat treatment of a mixture of sodium fluoride and calcium chloride at 600-750 o C in the presence of hydrofluoric acid [2] However, this method uses a high temperature synthesis for a long time synthesis (60 min).
The present invention solves the problem of reducing the temperature and synthesis time.
The novelty of the proposed method in comparison with the known lies in the use of nitrates as alkaline earth element and lead compounds. The synthesis temperature is reduced to 320-330 o with a synthesis time of 7-8 minutes
The proposed method is implemented as follows.
The initial nitrates of the alkaline earth element and lead and sodium fluoride are pre-dried, mixed in equivalent amounts, homogenized by stirring and grinding in a mortar at a temperature of 130-140 o C and placed in a shaft furnace with a temperature of 320-330 o C. The starting reagents are taken in quantities:
1. 1.661 g (66.42 wt.) Calcium nitrate + 0.8398 g (33.58 wt.) Sodium fluoride.
2. 2.1362 g (71.78 wt.) Strontium nitrate + 0.8398 g (28.22 wt.) Sodium fluoride.
3. 2.6324 g (75.8 wt.) Barium nitrate + 0.8398 g (24.2 wt.) Sodium fluoride.
4. 2.702 g (76.3 wt.) Lead nitrate + 0.8398 g (34.7 wt.) Sodium fluoride. The synthesis time is 7-8 minutes.
130-140oC.The resulting cake containing sinter containing fluoride of an alkaline earth element and lead is ground, washed from impurities of sodium nitrate with distilled water. A product representing lead fluoride, alkaline earth fluoride is dried at 130-140 o C.
The inventive method has significant advantages compared to the known ones: it allows the synthesis temperature to be reduced by 300-400 o C, which significantly reduces the energy consumption for the process, eliminates hydrogen fluoride from the synthesis process, which greatly simplifies the synthesis process technology.
