Claims (13)

1. Способ улучшения уровней полезной кишечной микробиоты у животного путем приема внутрь композиции, содержащей бета-казеин, или путем введения животному композиции, содержащей бета-казеин, где по меньшей мере 75% по массе бета-казеина представляет собой вариант бета-казеина, который содержит пролин в положении 67 аминокислотной последовательности бета-казеина.
2. Способ по п. 1, отличающийся тем, что вариант бета-казеина представляет собой бета-казеин А2, бета-казеин A3, бета-казеин D, бета-казеин Е или бета-казеин I.
3. Способ по п. 1 или 2, отличающийся тем, что вариант бета-казеина представляет собой бета-казеин А2.
4. Способ по любому из пп. 1-3, отличающийся тем, что бета-казеин содержит по меньшей мере 90% по массе бета-казеина А2.
5. Способ по любому из пп. 1-4, отличающийся тем, что бета-казеин содержит 100% бета-казеина А2.
6. Способ по любому из пп. 1-5, отличающийся тем, что улучшение микробиоты кишечника оценивают путем измерения уровней одной или более короткоцепочечных жирных кислот в образце фекалий.
7. Способ по п. 6, отличающийся тем, что одну или более короткоцепочечных жирных кислот выбирают из группы, включающей уксусную кислоту, пропановую кислоту и бутановую кислоту или сложный эфир указанной кислоты.
8. Способ по любому из пп. 1-7, отличающийся тем, что указанная композиция представляет собой молоко или молочный продукт.
9. Способ по п. 8, отличающийся тем, что указанное молоко представляет собой свежее молоко, сухое молоко, жидкое молоко, восстановленное из порошка, обезжиренное молоко, детскую смесь, гомогенизированное молоко, концентрированное молоко, сгущенное молоко, пастеризованное молоко или непастеризованное молоко.
10. Способ по п. 8, отличающийся тем, что молочный продукт представляет собой сливки, йогурт, творог, сыр, масло или мороженое.
11. Способ по любому из пп. 1-10, отличающийся тем, что животное представляет собой человека.
12. Способ стимуляции роста бактерий в кишечнике животного, включающий прием внутрь указанным животным композиции, содержащей бета-казеин, или введение указанному животному композиции, содержащей бета-казеин, где по меньшей мере 75% по массе бета-казеина представляет собой вариант бета-казеина, который содержит пролин в положении 67 аминокислотной последовательности бета-казеина.
13. Способ по п. 12, отличающийся тем, что стимуляция роста бактерий в кишечнике позволяет избежать или снизить риск возникновения одного или более из группы, включающей рак, заболевание печени, системные инфекции, воспалительные и аутоиммунные заболевания, ожирение и метаболический синдром, а также неврологические заболевания.
