Abstract

Este descrisă o ţigaretă al cărei filtru conţine un aditiv cu activitate antimutagenă faţă de fumul de ţigaretă, caracterizată prin aceea că filtrul: a) conţine un material de filtrare sub formă de fibre; b) conţine aditivul într-o cantitate mai mică de 5% în masă faţă de greutatea fibrelor filtrului, şi c) la testul de ardere a unei ţigarete cu filtru de acelaşi tip, neventilată, prezentând tija de tutun a ţigaretei model Coresta nr. 2, dar fără ca filtrul să conţină aditiv, se produce o retenţie de nicotină R(în %), determinată după CORESTA, metoda nr. 9, recomandată, care satisface următoarea formulă: Rmai mare sau egal 100* (1-D), în care: D=exp (A*B+C) cu A=21 mm - lungime de filtru în (mm) pentru lungimi de filtru mai mic sau egal 25 mm, respectiv A=-4 mm pentru lungimi de filtru >25 mm, B=9,3* 10(1/mm) şi C=-(d* delta* K+L), cu: d = diametrul filtrului (mm), delta= rezistenţa la aspiraţie a filtrului (mm HO), K=1,0228*10(1/mm* mm HO) şi L=0,2334. Cu acest filtru se filtrează substanţele active mutagene cu o selectivitate cu cel puţin 10% mai bună decât alte substanţe din componenţa fumului, măsurare efectuată conform testului Ames, cu tulpina T 98. În final, se descrie un procedeu special indicat pentru producerea unei astfel de ţigarete cu filtru.
