Abstract
Przesuwa się tafle szklane uprzednio doprowadzone do temperatury mięknięcia, nadając im stopniowo pożądany kształt wypukły. Pomiędzy fazą wstępną gięcia, w której tafla zaczyna przybierać swój kształt i fazą końcową gięcia, wykonuje się, w jednym miejscu linii przesuwania tafli, nadmuch powietrza w sposób ciągły, na co najmniej jedną powierzchnię tafli szklanych, aby można było wpływać w sposób niesymetryczny na wklęsłość końcową wypukłych tafli w stosunku do wklęsłości jaką miałoby gięcie końcowe bez nadmuchu. Odpowiednie urządzenie do gięcia zawierające co najmniej dyszę (3, 3a) do nadmuchu powietrza w sposób ciągły, umieszczoną w jednym miejscu linii przesuwania tafli i umieszczoną tam dla wykonywania asymetrycznego nadmuchu powietrza na tafle (1).
