The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the object, manifested in the shape and appearance of the upholstered parts, which give the furniture a unique appearance intended to enhance its aesthetic qualities. The sofa according to the industrial design is intended to be reproduced multiple times in industrial production. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached photograph, in which Figure 1 shows the sofa from the front. Essential Features of the Industrial Design The essence of the industrial design is a 3-seater sofa, distinguished by its cushion arrangement: two large backrest cushions, two round cylinders on the sides, and two small flat pillows on the sides. A narrow armrest is partially covered by the seat. The seams are quilted with decorative thread on the edges of the seat, under the armrests, on the cylinders, and in the center of the seat. A cylindrical chrome leg rests on a plate-like base. The sofa is known under the trade name ZAFIRA.
