The essence of an industrial design is a new form of the object, manifested in the shape and appearance of the upholstered parts, which give the furniture a unique look intended to enhance its aesthetic features. The sofa follows an industrial design and is intended for repeated use in industrial production. The subject matter of the industrial design is shown in the attached photograph, in which Fig. 1 shows a front view of the sofa. Important features of an industrial design The essence of an industrial design is a sofa that has a single-piece seat with a clearly separated cover fastened with decorative buttons on the front panel and sides. There is an imitation cover on the backrest cushions, also fastened with the same buttons. The sofa is available under the trade name Dou.
