Wooden base - when viewed from the front, it gives the impression of a massive base with three supports - on the sides and in the middle. The armrests have the shape of half-curls, which swing outwards. The seat and backrest cushions are trimmed with a decorative quilt, the cushions have a characteristic flounce.
