A process of preparing flaked fish cake comprising the steps of: washing and cleaning the fish by removing the head, viscera and scales; simmering said fish in vinegar and the water salt, garlic, ginger, bay leaves and peppercorn mixture for about of 25-30 minutes to soften the flesh of said fish; flaking said fish meat to remove fish bones; mixing the flour to said flaked fish meat; forming fish cakes of a uniform size and shape; smoking said fish cake for 2-3 hours; vacuum-packing said smoked flaked fish cake.
