Abstract

The process for the producing of peanut squash tart consist of the following: Creaming the butter in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy; adding the condensed milk and egg into the creamed butter and mixing it thoroughly; adding the flour, baking powder, grated squash, roughly chopped peanuts, flaked coconut and malunggay powder into the mixture and mixing it lightly as peanut squash fillings; filling the prepared tart crust with peanut squash filling and sprinkling chopped peanuts on top; baking the tart into a pre-heated oven at predetermined time and temperature; removing the cooked tart and Jetting it cool at room temperature. If the oven used is turbo oven, the temperature is 200oF and the baking time is about 12 to 15 minutes; however, if the oven used is gas oven, the temperature is 300oF and the baking time is about 18 to 20 minutes.
