Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con el diseno de buques de navegacion maritima y puede ser usada para la mayoria de tipos de cascos desde buques de movimiento lento y barcazas a buques de alta velocidad y botes que son operados a velocidad de planeo, y tambien para veleros. La invencion se relaciona con el diseno de la parte delantera del buque y se refiere a un dispositivo que reduce la resistencia del buque a las olas dentro de un amplio intervalo de velocidades, y tambien reduce o elimina la resistencia a la pulverizacion y al rompimiento de olas. El dispositivo comprende un cuerpo que esta sumergido total o parcialmente en una masa de agua y esta colocado en el area de proa, trabajando el cuerpo en interaccion con el casco detras. El cuerpo se disena y posiciona de forma tal que desplaza esencialmente la masa de agua que se aproxima en el plano vertical y posteriormente guia a la masa de agua que pasa sobre la superficie superior del cuerpo lejos de y/o esencialmente en paralelo al area de proa, de forma tal que el casco mismo, detras del cuerpo, desplaza las masas de agua que se aproximan en el menor grado posible. De esta manera se obtiene una resistencia reducida al movimiento hacia delante desde el buque.
