EN LA AGRICULTURA CUANDO LA TEMPERATURA Y LA HUMEDAD SE DESVIAN DE LAS NORMALES OCURREN DOS COSAS, EL CRECIMIENTO DE LAS PLANTAS SUFRE Y SURGEN ENFERMEDADES. EL MODELO DE STOLLER PARA EL CRECIMIENTO DE PLANTAS DICE QUE ES NECESARIO EL EQUILIBRIO HORMONAL CORRECTO PARA EL CRECIMIENTO Y COMPORTAMIENTO OPTIMOS. CUANDO LAS CONDICIONES DE CRECIMIENTO SE DESVIAN DE LAS NORMALES, EL EQUILIBRIO HORMONAL SE ALTERA Y SUFRE EL CRECIMIENTO DE LA PLANTA. ESTA INVENCION PRESENTA PRUEBAS PARA APOYAR ESTE MODELO Y EXPLICA LA RELACION ENTRE LOS NIVELES HORMONALES Y EL CRECIMIENTO DE LAS PLANTAS. UNA CLARA COMPRENSION DE ESTA RELACION FACILITARA LOS TRATAMIENTOS DE LOS CULTIVOS QUE TIENEN COMO OBJETIVO ELIMINAR ESTOS PROBLEMAS. AUNQUE NO PODEMOS CONTROLAR EL CLIMA, SI PODEMOS CONTROLAR EL DAÑO CAUSADO POR EL ESTRES AMBIENTAL MANIPULANDO LOS NIVELES Y/O LA RELACION DE LAS HORMONAS VEGETALES EN LOS DIFERENTES TEJIDOS DE LAS PLANTAS. AJUSTANDO LOS NIVELES Y/O RELACIONES DE LAS HORMONAS, PARTICULARMENTE AUXINA Y CITOCININAS EN EL TEJIDO DE LA RAIZ, PODEMOS AYUDAR A LA PLANTA A RESOLVER O COMPENSAR ESTE ESTRES AMBIENTAL.
