Abstract
Det beskrives belagte optiske fibre med strålingsherdbare belegg som omfatter merkapto-funksjonelle oligomerer. Spesielt kan beleggene omfatte de herdede reaksjonsproduktene av merkapto-avsluttede uretanoligomerer med tallmidlere molekylvekt bestemt ved gelgjennomtrengningskromatografi (GPC) på minst ca. 3000 dalton, spesielt i kombinasjon med en eller flere (met)akrylat-avsluttede uretanoligomerer, monomere fortynningsmidler og eventuelt silan som adhesjonspromotor, eventuelt en fotoinitiator og eventuelt stabilisatorer. Når de er herdet, har beleggene et prosentinnhold av ekstraherbare stoffer, slik det oppnås ved Soxhlet-ekstraksjon, på ikke mer enn 15%, og fortrinnsvis på ikke mer enn. 8%, og et innhold av flyktige stoffer, slik det oppnås ved termogravimetrisk analy-se, på mindre enn ca. 7%, og fortrinnsvis mindre enn ca. 3%.
