Abstract

Oppfinnelsen gjelder en metode, en styreenhet (19) og et batterisystem for å beregne en resulterende kapasitet i et batteri (15) under drift. Muligheten for å anslå den gjenværende energien i et batteri under utlading er nyttig for å bestemme gjenværende driftstid for batteriet før det må lades eller skif- tes. Oppfinnelsen omfatter en kompakt og hurtig metode, delt i to deler. En første del genererer en tabell ut fra minst to målte utladekurver. Visse beregninger blir så utført, og de endelige verdiene blir normalisert før de blir lagt inn i tabellen. En andre del omfatter en overvåkingsdel der spenningen, utladestrømstyrken og utladetiden for batteriet blir målt og registrert med visse mellomrom. Ved bruk av tabellen og de målte spenningene blir det beregnet en resulterende kapasitet, som blir justert i et etterfølgende trinn ved iterering av den resulter- ende kapasiteten og den midlere sluttspenningen i batteriet.
