Abstract

Sammensetninger og metoder for redusering eller hindring av mikrobiell vekst i plantevevkulturmedia, omfattende tilsetning av et kjemisk middel innbefattende metylklorisotazolinon, metylisotiazolinon, magnesiumklorid og magnesiumnitrat til et plantekulturmedium ved en konsentrasjon som reduserer eller hindrer mikrobiell kontaminering av plantevevkulturmediet og som gir adgang til vesentlig normal spiring av frø eller vesentlig normal vekst eller utvikling av planter, planteorganer, plantevev eller planteceller. Det kjemiske midlet kan ytterligere omfatte kaliumsorbat eller natriumbenzoat, eller begge deler.
