Abstract

Fremgangsinåte for å teste et lager assosiert med en mikroprosessor, spesielt for bruk ved smartkort. Fremgangsmåten omfatter å sammenligne utdata fra lageret (2) og videreført langs en lesebane (10), med forhåndsbestemte datasignaler som er generert eksternt og videreført via en port (7) langs en lesebane (9). Sammenligningen utføres i en sammen- ligningsinnretning (3) som eksempelvis kan være en mikroprosessor med passende programmering. Utgangen fra sanimenligningsinnretningen (3) utgjør et enkelt riktig/uriktig verifikasjonssignal som påtrykkes en port (5). De lagrede data som rommes i lageret (2), kan være permanent lagrede data, som f.eks. i en ROM, eller (når lageret kan endres) kan leses inn spesielt til lageret for testens formål.
