Abstract

Ved fordamping av prosess-avfallsvann omfattende en blanding av forskjellige typer avfallsvann, oppstår det problemer som på grunn av dannelse av reak- sjonsprodukter, såkalte inkrustasjoner, som det er vanskelig å separere. Disse inkrustasjoner gjen- tetter evaporatoren, hvilket nødvendiggjør at pro- sessen ofte stoppes for kjemisk og mekanisk rensing av evaporatoren. Oppfinnelsen vedrører en forbe- dring av fremgangsmåten for konsentrering av pro- sess-avfallsvann ved fordampning. I henhold til fremgangsmåten blir en sur prosess-strøm og en alkalisk prosess-strøm vekselvis inndampet i en og samme evaporator. Ved hjelp av foreliggende frem- gangsmåte kan utfellinger som det er vanskelig å separere, oppløses i evaporatoren under de respek- tive fordampninger. Som et resultat kan stopp som følge av behov for å rense evaporatoren unngåes i størst mulig grad, samtidig som mindre og billig prosess-utstyr er nødvendig.
