Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat raw sludge effectively in a short time and at a low cost by treating organic waste liquid containing ammoniacal nitrogen such as the raw sludge, or the like through jointly utilizing biological treating method owing to activated sludge together with chemical treating method.
CONSTITUTION: Raw sludge 51 of which its settings are removed previously is made into slurry 58 through the 1st denitrification vessel 53, a nitration vessel 54 and the 2nd denitrification vessel 55, which are in a process 52 for biological nitration and denitrification, and one part 59 of said slurry is made to separate into a concentrated sludge 61 and separated water 62 with a concentrating device 60 for the sludge. where, the sludge 61 is made to return into the vessel 53, and the water 62 is made into the mixed slurry 63 as it is mixed together with the remaining part of the slurry 58. After FeSO464 and H2O265 are added and mixed with said slurry in the 1st agitating vessel 66, said slurry is delivered into the 2nd agitating vessel 67, and high molecular flocculant 69 such as a polymer of nonionic group, or the like is added into said slurry as alkaline agent 68 such as Ca(OH)2, or the like is so added into said slurry as to allow this mixture to go near the acid side at 5W6 the pH- value. Then, thus treated slurry is separated into the concentrated slurry 71 and concentration separated water 72 in a concentrating process 70 and, further, the slurry 71 is separated into dehydration cake 74 and filtered liquid 75 of dehydration through dehydration treatment with a hydro-extractor 73 such as a filter press, or the like.
