Energigjenvinnende, trykkreduserende system (30 eller 50) for å redusere hasytrykksgass l en overføringsrør- ledning (13A) til et lavere trykk l en forbrukerrør- lednlng (18A) Innbefattende en hoved-trykkregulator eller regulerlngsventll (17A.17B) med en justerbar strømnlngsstyrende åpning, hvilken trykkregulerende ventil (17A eller 17B) er valgvis forblndbar mellom overførings- og forbrukerrørledningene (13A og 18A) for å strupe høytrykksgassen og frembringe lavtrykksgass når hoved-trykkregulatoren eller reguleringsventilen (17A eller 17B) forbinder rørledningene. En bypassled- nlng (45 eller 51) kortslutter hoved-trykkregulatoren eller reguleringsventilen for å forbinde rørledningene når hoved-trykkreguleringsventilen koples fra rørled- ningene. Bypassledningen innbefatter et ekspansjons- system med minst en ekspansjonsinnretnlng (31,101) eller (EXP) for å ekspandere høytrykksgassen i gassoverføringsrørledningen (13A) og produsere arbeidet og lavtrykksgass som leveres til forbrukerrørledningen (18A).
